Founded in 2008, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) is China’s leading
global non-governmental think tank. It is the first Chinese think tank to be granted
the special consultative status by the Economic and Social Council of the United
Nations (ECOSOC) as a non-governmental organization and the first Chinese nongovernmental think tank to be ranked among the world’s top 100 think tanks.
CCG has ranked first among China’s non-governmental think tanks in multiple
authoritative think tank indices in China and abroad.
CCG is a national Postdoctoral Programme research center granted by the Ministry
of Human Resources and Social Security and has the independent authority to
recruit postdoctoral researchers. CCG is a member of the Belt and Road Think Tank
Alliance, a founding member of the US Research Think Tank Alliance established
by the Ministry of Finance, a National Talent Research Facility of the Central Talent
Work Coordination Group of the CPC Central Committee, the site of the China
International Professional Committee for Talents of the Ministry of Human Resources
and Social Security. CCG holds the position of Vice President at the China Public
Relations Association and serves as the Secretariat for the \"Global Young Leaders
Dialogue (GYLD)\" Program. In 2021, the \"Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD)\"
initiated by CCG received a reply letter from Xi Jinping, President of China.
Headquartered in Beijing, CCG has more than ten branches and overseas
representatives and over 100 full-time researchers and professionals. CCG is guided
by the principle of \"Global Vision for China, Chinese Wisdom for the World\"
and adheres to the professional positioning of \"internationalized, impactful, and
constructive\". It is committed to conducting in-depth research in various fields,
including globalization, global governance, international relations, international
trade and investment, international talent and global enterprises, the Belt and Road
Initiative, the Chinese diaspora, and think tank development.
