Story of ASSIST's brand ASSIST company was founded in 1994, initially as a manufacturer of steel measuring tape’s case. In 1994, the company began to produce steel measuring tape itself, and entered into the building tool market. Now ASSIST has become a well-known brand of measuring tools \& hand tools in the construction industry market, ASSIST products include steel measuring tape, utility knife, screwdriver, screwdriver bits, hex key levels etc.. In the year of 2003, the company passed the European MID II certification, and now ASSIST company passed the MID I certificate for single side blade printing and double side blade printing . JIS I certificate for Japanese market . NOM certificate for Mexico market etc . ASSIST's factory is located in Chinese plastic mold city - Yuyao. In 2001, ASSIST's Phase I plant successfully completed and put into standard production operation. Since then the company began a regular, standardized, energy-saving development. ASSIST's Phase II plant was extended and put into use in 2009, since then the company entered into big volume mass production and had a rush upgrade from either the production capacity or from the process quality. Every year, the company invested 8% of its sales in the development and transformation of new products and equipment and producing technology, the company also has its own design, research and development team, such as out-looking designers, structural engineers, art designers, etc.. The company has applied for and obtained many patents for inventions and structures. Now, ASSIST brand has been named as Zhejiang's famous export brand, and ASSIST has promoted our products and brands both in domestic and abroad market through different exhibitions. Utility Knives advantage A: Hardware spare parts is produced by continuous cut way to ensure the stable quality and it is foundation to realize the automatic assemble production line for cutter knife ;Now except some Japanese factory used this kind of way, in China Ningbo Assist Tools Co., Ltd. is the only Factory to use this technology. B: Blade : we used SK4 material with more hardness, sharpness, We have our own exclusive design triple ground cutting edge which is 50% sharper and stay sharp 3 times longer than the normal blade. C: Some part of the cutter knife assembling we have realized automatic production line like the push button assembling and package .
