Acrel special current transformers:

Compared with common CT, Hall sensor can detect not only standard AC/DC,

but also Pulse and other complex signals.

Secondary output is isolated from primary.

CABINET CONTROL DEVICES

Temperature & Humidity is always concerned within a LV or MV switchboard especially for industrial applications.

Acrel -- can help you digitalize them and send the data through Modbus-RTU.

Common Thermostat:

Thus, over temperature or over heat

can not be detected, the life time of

the switchboard is then decreased.

Digital Temp./Hum. Controller:

Door-mounted with display which can

be read directly.

A Temp./Hum. Sensor is installed

directly in the compartment which

need to be monitored respectively. So the real environment is monitored.

Wireless Temperature Controller:

Door-mounted with display which can be read directly.

A wireless temperature sensor is installed directly to the busbar, terminal, and the

contact arms of breaker. Then the best accuracy is realized.

Multiple panels can be monitored and transferring data to a touch screen in

control panels.

INSULATION MONITORING DEVICES

AIM series Insulation Monitoring devices is used in IT system which the neutral line of a transformer is NOT grounded.

IT systems is used when continues power supply is a mandatory, short-time line to ground fault is allowed but should be monitored,

and alarms have to be issued.

Intensive Care Unit(ICU), surgery room of hospital; under ground Mining; Metallurgical plants are typical application of IT system.

INSULATION MONITORING DEVICES

AIM series for Medical application:

In this IT system, load current、isolated transformer temperature、insulation can be

monitored in the same time.

As option, signal generator and fault locator can be added upto 16 branch circuits.

The information pad AID200 will be installed in nurse station.

Alarms with indicator and voice will be actived once a fault happened.

AIM series for Industrial application (upto 800V):

In case of two incoming power supply, two insulation monitor can be used.

Once the bus-coupler is closed, one of the device will stop detecting

automatically.

Note:

IM models for medical and

industrial application can NOT

be mixed use. The signal voltage and format is

different for safety reason.

MCC & ELR

EARTH LEAKAGE RELAY

ELR is used when human safety or fire

protection is required. It’s frequently used with

power supply for public services or hospitals.

ASJ series Earth leakage Relay will detect

residual sinusoidal alternating and pulsating

direct currents. An adjustable trip level and time

delay allows the product to be set according to

the type of installation to be protected.

When the level of leakage current being

monitored exceeds the set trip level, the unit

will trip with/without time delay. Typically, the

product is used in conjunction with an external

switching device (i.e. contactor, shunt trip). An

auxiliary supply is required to power this

product.

Remind: AKH-0.66-L series ZCT or so called

CBCT need to be used together.

MOTOR PROTECTION RELAY

Electronic motor protection relays is another one of Acrel recommended products.

Except to help extend the life time and protect the motor, electrical parameters can be monitored at the same time;

Event log can also help customer to manage and understand the performance of the motor;

Multiple start-up logic: DOL, Y-D, Dual-speed, Dual-direction , Self-coupling starting can be selected, so there’s no need

external timer and relay required, no mistake would happen anymore while design or wiring between these timer or relays.

Saves your installation space, wire and time. The compact size make them easily put into a withdrawable compartment.

Instead of the traditional Reactor + Capacitor, Static Var Generator (SVG) is a better solution for reactive power compensation.

It’s a power-electronic device which acts fast in a linear, continuous and stepless way.

X Resonance might happen due to the LC circuit, thus will

damage the contactor and capacitors;

ACTIVE POWER FILTER

Besides the power factor correction, problems caused by harmonics becomes popular in nowadays electrical systems.

Harmonics are generated from non-linear load such as VFD, fluorescent lamp, UPS and so on…..

Due to these harmful voltage/current, N conductors、motors will over-heat and then dangers come with unusual noises, low

efficiency of the power usage would also cause a higher electricity fee.

Acrel Active Power Filter (APF) is designed to distinguish these harmonics between 2 to 51 times of base frequency.
