Please refer to the current Attwood price schedule for current prices and policies. Prices apply to standard pack

quantities only. Orders will be rounded to the nearest standard pack.

Claims

Attwood products are carefully inspected and packaged to assure that they will reach you in good condition.

Product damage or loss occurring in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. In the event of such loss, you must

advise the carrier within 15 days after delivery and secure the carriers notation of damage or shortage in the freight

bill. We suggest you file a claim with the carrier immediately thereafter. We will give you all reasonable assistance in

tracing shortages and filing claims.

Minimum Order

Individual items must be ordered in assortments which total $250.00 or more per order to one location. Orders less

than $250.00 will be subject to a $25.00 handling charge.

Returns

Any Product Return Must Have Prior Return Authorization

Non-Defective Product: Attwood will not accept any non-defective returns, unless due

to the fault of Attwood. Non-defective product returns will be subject to a minimum 25%

handling charge, or will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Defective Product: Credit will not be issued for defective product without written

authorization. Return requests must be mailed to our offices and must include an itemized

list of materials to be returned, the reasons for return, and the date and number of the

Attwood invoice.

improvement change.

Attwood Corporation, 1016 North Monroe, Lowell, Michigan 49331 (“Attwood”) warrants to the first retail

purchaser of its products that Attwood will replace or repair the product, at its sole discretion, if any defects in

material or workmanship are reported within the applicable warranty periods set out below from the date of the first

retail purchase, subject to the remedies, exclusions, and limitations in this Limited Warranty. This limited warranty

is effective for all Attwood products purchased after May 1, 2009.

Sole Remedy: In no event shall any repair or replacement under this Limited Warranty exceed the fair market value of

the product as of the date of the owner’s claim. THE REMEDY OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PARTS OR

MATERIALS FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE IN FACTORY MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP COVERED BY THIS LIMITED

WARRANTY SHALL CONSTITUTE THE OWNER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AGAINST ATTWOOD FOR ANY

CLAIMS WHATSOEVER OF ECONOMIC LOSS RESULTING FROM PRODUCT FAILURE.

Acceptance of any product returned or any refund provided by Attwood shall not be deemed an admission that the

product is defective. Products that are replaced become Attwood’s property. The terms and conditions contained in this

limited warranty may not be modified, altered or waived by any action, inaction, or representations, whether oral or in

writing, except upon the express, written authority of a management level employee of Attwood.

Exclusions: This Limited Warranty does not apply to the following items:

1. Any Attwood products used in other applications than on pleasure boats, including but not limited to non-marine use or

use on boats which are utilized for racing or commercial purposes, with the exception of the Heavy Duty Bilge Pumps

installed on commercial boats (see 1b, above) (Part Numbers 4030,4040,4060,4070).

2. Any non water-resistant Turbo Bilge Blowers (Part Numbers 1731, and 1741) used in applications which allow direct

contact with water or other liquids.

3. Due to wind velocity encountered when boats are trailered, only Snug Harbor™ Silver Series, Snug Harbor™ Titanium

Series, Silver Coat, Road Ready™, Road Max™, Road Max™ 600, Boaters Best™, Boaters Best™ Ultimate, and

Custom boat covers, when properly tied down, are warranted as suitable for use in connection with towing on a trailer.

No warranty is extended on any other boat covers when used in connection with a trailered boat.

4. Damage to the boat cover or to any other property or any injury resulting from the failure to properly tie down a boat

cover before towing is not covered.

5. Ancillary equipment used or associated with Attwood products, including but not limited to, batteries, fuses, electric light

bulbs, lamps, or sealed beam units.

6. Any product damaged by accident, acts of nature, improper installation, unreasonable or improper use, lack of proper

maintenance, unauthorized repairs or modifications, abuse, normal wear or tear, or other causes not arising from

defects in materials or workmanship.

7. Any expenses involved in the removal, reinstallation, or transportation of the product.

8. Any product damaged by the failure of the owner to use, maintain, or store the product as specified in any instructions.

9. Any boat cover torn or ripped because of forcing the fabric over sharp edges or corners, failing to protect the fabric

from sharp objects, or allowing water, snow or ice to pool or puddle on the product.

10. Any boat cover fabric discoloration, or failure due to chemical exposure such as bird droppings, tree sap, gas,

and oil or mildew due to water, snow or ice, dirt, leaves, pine needles resting on the product or the product stored

while damp.

11. Any defect or repair requiring redesign of the Attwood product, except pursuant to the recall provisions of the United

States Federal Boat Safety Act of 1971 or the recall laws of any other foreign jurisdiction.

Owner’s Obligations: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to return the product to Attwood at the address below,

postage pre-paid, and insured with proof of original purchase including date.

Types of Navigation Lights Certifications, Codes and Standards

This section is divided into four basic types of navigation lights, differentiated This section provides you with some general information on the selection and

2-MILE ALL-ROUND LIGHTS

Attwood all-round lights offer 2-mile, 360° visibility and are suitable on boats up to 39.4 feet (12 meters).

Power vessels less than 39.4 feet may show a single, all-round light in lieu of a separate masthead and stern

light. Attwood all-round lights are available in a variety of head, pole, and base styles to fit most style boats

and installation locations. On boats under 12 meters the 360º all-round light is the most important

navigation light because it can be seen by others from any direction. The drawback is that, in some cases,

old style all-round lights create an on-board safety hazard for the driver—blinding glare at the helm.

LED Anti-Glare, Anti-Glare Lights and Frosted Globe Lights Anti-Glare Light Output

Attwood offers a choice of all-round lights — Anti-Glare and

Frosted Globe. Be sure to select the head, pole, and base style

that best suits your installation location while eliminating

driver glare.

Traditional and LED Anti-Glare Lights

Attwood’s Anti-Glare all-round light goes beyond current

regulations to reduce the danger of on-board glare. The

precision lens focuses the light beam to the horizon where it’s

needed–360º without diffusion–keeping it out of the driver’s

field of view. It allows the operator to see while being sure the

boat is seen.The bottom aperture eliminates glare by cutting

off the light beam at 7.5º below horizontal so it’s out of the

driver’s view. Above horizontal, the lens shines a continuous

arc of light–allowing improved visibility even when the boat is

pitching in rolling seas.The Articulating Head Anti-Glare light

makes it even easier to eliminate glare. The patented

articulating head adjusts from 15º fore to 15º aft to fit all base

angles and typical deck installations.

Frosted Globe Lights

Attwood’s Standard Frosted Globe, All-Round light is also

available. Frosted Globe lights, when properly located, provide

effective 360º visibility.

ALL-ROUND LIGHTS

Articulating Anti-Glare All-Round Pole Lights

Attwood’s newest Anti-Glare lights are a great improvement over conventional all-round lights — they focus light at the horizon and above

— not in the driver’s eyes.

The bottom aperture reduces glare at 7.5° below horizontal. Above

horizontal, the lens shines a continuous arc of light in rolling seas. Makes

the boat more visible to taller craft such as freighters and commercial

vessels. The patented Articulating Head adjust from 15° forward to 15° aft.

Attwood’s Folding-Pole All-Round light solves this problem. It has all the features of the patented Articulating

Anti-Glare light plus one great advantage — the removable pole folds in half for easy stowage.

installation. With a simple, one handed motion, you can lock your light securely into place

for well-lit night cruising. Removing your light is also a snap – just slide the quick release

retainer button and the light is free to remove. In addition to being effortless to operate, the

Easy Lock base is extremely robust. Unlike locking collar designs that can loosen over time,

Regulations will require a paradigm shift for boat builders and Attwood will be their partner

• Starting on January 1st, 2009, California Air Resources Board (CARB) required that boats with an engine

greater than 500hp sold in California provide enhance evaporative emission controls on installed marine fuel

systems in order to limit the escape of hydrocarbons from fuel systems into the environment.

• Additionally, similar regulations have been passed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency

which will require that starting July 31, 2011, 50% of boats sold nationwide with installed fuel systems also

provide enhanced evaporative emission systems. The requirement will be applicable to 100% of boats with

installed fuel systems beginning July 31, 2012.

• In order to help the marine industry make the challenging transition to CARB and EPA compliant

fuel systems Attwood is proud to announce the launch of our low permeation fuel line kits, our

first generation Marine Carbon Canister program, as well as the launch of the development of the

Next Generation Marine Fuel System.

• While marine fuel systems have remained relatively simple and unchanged for many years, new regulations

will require an increase in their complexity to function effectively. Attwood is working to optimize the

functionality, cost effectiveness and safety of future fuel systems to ensure that the industry is prepared to

handle this significant challenge.
