Featuring a sandhill crane standing on one leg with outstretched wings

in a tree, surrounded by bamboo; with an inscription and one seal to

either side.

此件煙壺呈扁方瓶形，直頸，橢圓形圈足，水晶材質，晶體透明純凈，煙壺蓋材質為珊

瑚與翡翠，珊瑚雕有龍紋。壺一面內畫梅花滿枝，一只丹頂鶴立於草石之上；另一面畫

有竹林與梅枝。丹頂鶴姿態生動，花草樹木無一不精，大師功力畢現於此。此壺落款「

壬辰重陽寫於京師」應作於（光緒十八年，1892年）。周樂元憑借其紮實的繪畫功底，

將中國傳統繪畫濃縮在寸天厘地的鼻煙壺內，精巧雅致，令人嘆服，其作品深受博物館

及藏家青睞。

metal with enameled koi; one of cinnabar with applique stone floral motifs

and matching stopper; one of black lacquered wood with incised dragons;

and one with ornate metal overlay with cabochons and matching stopper

attached to bottle by chain links. (5).
