4104 Series Pneumatic Piston Eccentric Rotary Valve
Eccentric rotary valves are also known as cam flex valves. Our company in reference to the
advantages of domestic and foreign eccentric valves and V-shaped ball valves, based on the needs
of users, developed a new type of rotary valve in this year.
Eccentric rotary valve is actually a bow cut-off sphere ball valve. Due to the existence of cam
eccentricity of the valve, so that when the pneumatic device is driving the valve closing parts from
opening to closing , the sealing force acting on the valve seat is gradually increased, so that the
spherical surface of the valve closing parts and the valve seat sealing surface from complete
detachment to contact, and gradually increase its sealing specific pressure until complete sealing,
and vice versa. This greatly improves the sealing condition and sealing effect of normal ball valves,
creates favorable conditions for the use of hard sealing materials (such as various metals and hard
alloys, etc.) on the ball valve, it also opens the way for the use of ball valves at high temperatures and
pressures where wear and tear is critical. In addition, the valve is lightweight due to the use of a bowshape globe and a clamp-type connection, eliminating the need for a pair of flanges. Besides, the
valve has a large flow capacity, which is more than 50% and 20% larger than that of single-seat and
double-seat regulators, respectively.
The valve has good regulating performance and the flow characteristic is modified equal
percentage (between equal percentage and linear). Therefore, eccentric rotary valves have been
used in large numbers as regulators, and secondly, they are also used for solid materials and high
temperature and high pressure for resistance to scouring and abrasion.

Manufacturing characteristics
1. The packing box adopts the similar structure of ball valve, and the sealing effect is much better than that of
direct stroke valve. The medium flowing through the valve is easily sealed by the packing.
2. The flow path is simple, smooth, small flow resistance, and works in both positive and negative directions.
3. Wide range of service temperature. Valve body and bonnet are cast in one piece. If long-necked bonnet is
used, together with heat dissipation sheet, the service temperature can be -40~450℃ (at this time, the valve
seat is metal-sealed).
4. Large adjustable ratio. The valve core and the seat are completely closed after positioning (Note: When
assembling or repairing the valve core, there should be a certain clearance between the valve core and the
two shafts), and then fixed with the restrainer ring and lock ring. At this time, due to the close contact between
the valve core and the valve seat, the valve stem produces flexural deformation, forcing the valve core to be
tightly pressed on the valve seat. Therefore, the adjustable minimum flow rate is small. Adjustable ratio is R=
100.
5. the valve core in the process of opening or closing, unlike O-shape ball valves, the valve core and the valve
seat are always in close contact, so in the same working conditions require a small actuator torque. It not only
saves energy but also minimizes wear and tear on the valve core and valve seat.
6. Valve core and seat closure produces instant shear effect, can cut off the media fiber, automatically sweep
the solid particles on the valve seat, so the eccentric rotary valve can be used especially in the media
containing fibers, solid particles and not clean.
