1 GENERAL
Mini Circuit Breaker (MCB) protect electrical circuitsagainst overload and shortcircuit current.They provide ON-OFF switching easily.MCB is applicable to electric circuits with rated voltage 230/40oVAC,frequency 50/60Hzand rated current up to 1ooAmp.The product provides protection against overload and short circuit to electric circuitsand equipments in household and commercial installations.MCB isalso used as non-frequent changeover of electric circuits. Special tips:
MCB is for non-professional operation by those untrained,and no maintenance is required.

Satisfying conditions and applications as mentioned above, MCB with "ON-OFF" indicating device is considered suitable for isolation function.
Particular devices such as surge protective devices,surge arrester etc are recommended to installat upstream line to MCB as precaution against potential surge voltage and current occurring at its power input side.

GENERAL
The residual current device(RCD) works with no extra power supply to the operating mechanism.It compares the magnitude of the currents through the neutral and phase conductors.The conductors are coiled on toroid and together with the secondary winding form a measurement transformer.The power conductors are coiled in such a way that the magnetic fields generatec at electrical current flow through themare mutually neutralized.At failure in the insulation of some of the conductors or at presence of a person under voltage,the system is misbalanced and the magneticfields can not be neutralized.This residualfield generates in the secondary current winding, called current leakage.The device breakswhen the value of this current exceeds the limit value of the RCD.Every people from any profession and any cultural level are in close contact with electrical energy at any hour of the day and they may encounter residual currents.Under normal conditions,benefitsfrom electrical energy are countless.However, damages arising froman insulation error are also really huge.Every year, many individuals become victimof electrical accidents.Therefore, use of residual current protection devices has been rendered mandatory in many countries and our country.

Electrical current pass through body of a person,who is in contact with an electrical device withany insulation fault or conductors under direct energy. Significance of hazard arising from transition of the current through the body depends on many factors.

-Path followed in the body.
Fibrillation is breakdown of the controlling system of the heart,when the residual current passes through it.In this case,heart cannot fulfillits duty to pump blood.As it is seen here, even a small current results in heart attack and accordingly eath of the person.
LIFEPROTECTION
According to IEC 60479-1,30mA value of the residual current is the limit value in terms of human life.Residual current circuit breaker breaks energy of the circuitat 30mA (limit value) and higher values to provide safe protection.
FIREPROTECTION
When residual current value reaches 3oomA,fire risk comes into existence due to heat formed by electrical arc.Residual current circuit breaker breaks energy of the circuit at 3 0 0 \mathsf { m A } threshold value and higher values in terms of safety of goods and lives to provide safe protection.
The RCD must be independent from the supply voltage,that is it should not be electronic.Since electronic short circuit circuit breakeres need supply voltage, they cannot operate and protect in case of a breakdown in the neutral line.

- Neutral conductive should be laid downas insulated and should notbe grounded anywhere (between residual current circuit breakersand load).
- In 2-pole RCD,phasesand neutral conductive;in 4-pole RCD,all phasesand neutral conductive should be connected to the RCD. -Currentpassing through RCD should not exceed nominal current of the switch.
-Inorder tocheck operation of the RCDto remain connected to theinstallation,presstest"T"button.Thedevice should openthe circuit.Phase-neutral conductorsshould never be subjecttoshort circuittotestthedevice.
