The ZGS11–22H (Z) series combined transformers, commonly known as American-style box-type substations, differ
from traditional box-type substations in that their transformers, voltage load switches, fuse elements, and other
protective components are housed within insulating oil; this design results in a compact structure and utilizes highflash-point insulating oil (>312°C), making them suitable for special application scenarios. These units can be
configured with low-voltage distribution, metering, and compensation devices as required.
This product series has been widely deployed across China in residential communities, public venues, industrial and
mining enterprises, and other power distribution applications.

1、 This series is of the common-tank type. The fuse, high-voltage load switch (or high-voltage load transfer
switch), and no-excitation voltage regulation tap changer are all installed as transformer components
within the transformer oil tank.
2、 The capacity range is 100–1600 kVA. This product is suitable for 10 kV distribution networks operating
under a neutral-point-insulated system, while the 400 V system employs a three-phase four-wire system
with a directly grounded neutral point.
3、 The key technical and economic indicators meet international advanced levels for products of this type.
It features high integration, reliable power supply, compact size, light weight, and low noise levels.
4、 It features both ring-type (ZGS11–13H) and terminal-type (ZGS11–13Z) cable output configurations.
5、 This solution enables the 10 kV power grid to extend deeper into load centers, reduces line losses,
improves power supply reliability, enhances the urban environment, and is particularly suitable for urban
grid upgrades. By employing a specialized wiring configuration, when a fuse on the high-voltage side of
the transformer blows, the non-faulted phase on the low-voltage side of the transformer can still
maintain normal voltage supply. Its key advantages include superior voltage quality, no neutral point
drift, no heat generation within the enclosure, low noise levels, and excellent lightning protection
performance.
6、 It is specially designed such that the transformer core, high-voltage load switch (or high-voltage load transfer
switch), fuse, and no-excitation tap changer are all housed within a fully sealed oil tank. This design improves
space utilization; its volume is approximately only one-third that of a box-type substation (also known as an EU-

1、 This product is composed of a high-voltage distribution device, high-voltage electrical equipment, and a low-voltage
distribution device, interconnected to form three functional compartments: the high-voltage compartment, the transformer
compartment, and the low-voltage compartment; both the high-voltage and low-voltage compartments are fully equipped
with all necessary functions. The primary power supply system on the high-voltage side can be configured in various modes,
such as ring-network power supply, terminal power supply, or dual-power supply; it may also be equipped with high-voltage
metering components to meet high-voltage metering requirements. For the transformer compartment, options include S11,
S13, SCB10, SCB12, as well as other low-loss oil-immersed transformers and dry-type transformers. The transformer
compartment is equipped with a high-efficiency self-starting air-cooling system and an illumination system. The low-voltage
compartment can adopt either a panel-mounted or cabinet-mounted configuration based on the user's requirements to
implement the desired power supply solution. This system offers a wide range of functions, including power distribution,
lighting distribution, no power compensation, electric energy metering, and current measurement, thereby meeting diverse
user needs while facilitating power supply management and enhancing power quality.
2、 The high-voltage room features a compact and well-designed structure, equipped with comprehensive anti-misoperation
interlocking functions. When requested by the user, the transformer can be fitted with tracks that allow convenient access
from both sides of the transformer room doors. Each compartment is equipped with automatic lighting systems; furthermore,
all components selected for the high-voltage and low-voltage rooms are characterized by reliable performance and ease of
operation, ensuring safe and dependable product operation, as well as straightforward operation and maintenance.
3、 The transformer room employs both natural ventilation and forced ventilation systems to ensure effective cooling. All lowvoltage sections of the transformer room are equipped with ventilation ducts; the exhaust fans are fitted with temperature
control devices that can automatically start and stop according to a preset temperature setting, thereby ensuring the
transformer operates at full load.
4、 The enclosure structure effectively prevents rainwater and contaminants from entering; it is constructed from specialized steel
plates or aluminum alloy, treated for corrosion resistance, and designed for long-term outdoor use. This ensures excellent
corrosion resistance, waterproofing, and dustproof performance, along with a long service life and an aesthetically pleasing
appearance.

Enclosure structural characteristics:
The enclosure's base frame is fabricated from structural steel and undergoes anti-corrosion treatment; the specifications of the structural
steel are selected based on the enclosure size and transformer capacity. The user may choose between a recessed base or an oil-filled base. The
walls and roof cover are constructed using \"alkali-resistant glass fiber-reinforced special cement with other additives.\" The external protective door
can be configured in two versions: one utilizing \"colored galvanized steel plate combined with polystyrene flame-retardant insulation material,\" and
the other utilizing \"enhanced external protective spray-applied hard plastic decorative material.\" The transformer room features a double-layer
protective door, with the inner door made of aluminum alloy; all exposed metal components are manufactured from stainless steel. Inside the
enclosure, the structure is divided into a high-voltage switchgear room, a transformer room, and a low-voltage switchgear room by means of metal
steel plates, ensuring strict isolation between these individual rooms.
The structural layout can be categorized into \"P-shaped\" and \"M-shaped\" configurations; the operating modes are divided into \"internaloperated\" and \"external-operated\" types; overall box-type substations are classified into \"single-transformer configuration\" and \"double-transformer
configuration\"; high-voltage switches include \"terminal-type\" power supply and \"loop-type\" power supply options; primary wiring configurations

either a standard configuration or a panel-mounted or frame-type structure; the former offers greater system integration capability, while the latter
provides a compact and space-efficient overall design.
Transformers can be designed as oil-immersed or dry-type; the former has a larger volume but is more cost-effective; the latter features a smaller size, superior reliability, does not pose a risk of combustion or explosion, and is suitable for various applications.
