Gob guide mechanism
Special mechanism to guide the glass gobs from feeder to delivery system of the IS forming
machine. Using special tubes design, it can perform the acceleration of gob speed, improving
gob delivery on the molds as well as slightly increasing IS machine speed.
Stainless steel tubes
The tubes made of stainless steel are long-lasting, however they require water cooling (1 l/min)
made by an external jacket to the tube.
Internal surface has a round profile with a funnel shape on the entrance (see further on the page
relating to the choice of the hole diameter according to the drop). This internal surface has an
accurate finish.
Carbon tubes
These tubes are made of graphite. Once mounted in their metal seat, they do not require
lubrication because the graphite itself has a self-lubricating and not even need cooling.
All this became into a decidedly lower final cost compared to those in metal which is
accompanied by a much lower duration.

Forming machine Re-manufacturing vs overhauling: while to overhaul means a simple or quite complex intervention,
more or less comparable to an IS machine C-class repair, the Re-manufacturing is a very complex
process that build up a totally new IS machine by exploiting structural and no wearing parts taken
from a used IS machine, replacing all strategical components with new ones, involving huge knowhow and high engineering to make it a new, standard IS machine with latest technology and safety
rules.

Single section IS Forming Machine with Electronic Timing System
The Monosezione Single section IS machine has been specifically developed for production of
limited quantities of special glass containers, for training of personnel and for sampling purposes.
The machine can be fed by hand, by Robot and/or by Feeder mechanism.

Max IS
Single Section Forming Machine for manufacturing XXL glass containers
Revimac MAX-IS is a totally new concept forming machine developed for the production of large
size glass containers.

The MAX-IS forms the
containers in 3 stages:
blank, pre-form and final blow. The 3 stages
will take place on 4
separate stations. Final
blow time required for
large container is longer
than usual, this is the
reason why final blow
will carried out on 2
stations.
All the operations are
performed through
brushless motors
which allow a total
machine control;
Timing is controlled
via personal computer.
The operation of MAXIS is enabled by 35
servomotors.
Avoiding the pneumatic
controls significantly
simplifies the machine
system design,
allowing for greater
accessibility and quicker
maintenance.
Another MAX-IS
specification is the use
of two robots to remove
and insert the products
in the pre-form and final blow. These robots
transport the containers
from one station to
the other, optimizing
time and movement
trajectories.
