Introduction

The JN22B-40.5/31.5 series indoor HV earthing switch is researched and developed by Xi'an HV Electric Research Organization. It features advanced design, stable performance, simple structure, and easy mounting and adjustment. This switch is suitable for electric power systems with a voltage of 40.5kV, three-phase, and AC 50Hz. As an earthing protection device, it can be used in KYN-40.5 or other types of switchgear. It complies with GB 1985-2004 and IEC 129 standards.

General

The controller of the DN15-3.5 earthing switch provides control and protection for the motor operating mechanism. If the electric mechanism encounters difficulty driving the motor—such as improper installation or a jam in the mechanism—the controller will detect the fault condition, immediately stop the motor, and reverse its operation to release the jammed chassis.

Introduction

To meet the evolving demands of power switchgear, we developed the electric earthing switch, which has been awarded a national invention patent. Maintaining the original style and interlock functions of the switchgear, the electric earthing switch incorporates a motor operating mechanism based on the original JN15, N17, N228, and JN22 series earthing switches. It retains the characteristics of the original earthing switch while enabling electric operation. Additionally, electric and manual operations do not require switching, satisfying the requirements for automated operation in power systems

Control logic

Electric open and close operations are permitted when the interlock signal is satisfied.

During the switch opening and closing operation, if a switch opening or closing instruction is issued, the controller will execute the original operation.

If the open/close buttons on the panel are pressed simultaneously or if the interlock signal becomes invalid during the operation, the controller will halt the operation.

When the blocking rotation protection condition is met, the blocking rotation protection current setting is configured to 1A.

The time limit for electric opening and closing operations is set to 12 seconds. If the time expires and the relay is not in the correct position, the system will stop and trigger an alarm.

Statement:

The four φ5 openings in above picture are the fix installation openings of controller on the panel. Φ20-40 opening is used to go through the connection cable inside the controller.

The opening is used for thecable of the controller. Ans it has no strict requirementof processing dimension tolerances.

Chassis truck

Introduction

Chassis truck is primarily designed to support circuit breakers, transformers, and other components in withdrawable switchgear. It facilitates the pushing and extraction of the chassis. As an auxiliary operation, it connects components and busbars. When operated with the internal mechanism of the circuit breaker and the interlock mechanism of the mid-placed cabinet, it meets the interlock requirements of the "5 Preventions" stipulated in GB3906. The specific functions are as follows:

Circuit breaker can only be closed when the handcart is in the testing, isolating, or working position. When the handcart is in the locked state, this prevents misconnection and mismatched isolation contacts with the load.

If the handcart is in the working position or moves 110 mm away from the testing/isolating position, the earthing switch fails to close, thus avoiding unintentional operation of the switch.

When the earthing switch is closed, the handcart cannot shift from the testing/isolating position to the working position, preventing the circuit breaker from closing inadvertently.

Once the chassis enters the cabinet and moves away from the testing/isolating position, the handcart cannot be drawn out of the cabinet.
