4 Technical Data
4.1Ambienttemperatureandaltitude
DHF-type pump' sambient temperature is up to + 4 0 ^ { \circ } C , the maximum altitude of 1 0 0 0 { m } . ifthe ambient temperature exceeds the above temperature or pump installed above the maximum altitude, the motor must not be fully loaded run, otherwise willcause the danger of overheating. Overheating is mainly caused by overheating of ambient temperature or lowair density leading to poor motor coolin.g effect. In this case, higher power motor should be chosen.
If both the maximum temperature and the maximum altitude exceed the allowable range, the percentage of output power of motor reduction should be calculated by times of two numbers.
4.2Minimum Inlet Pressure
The maximum suction in meters can be calculated by following formula:
H = P _ { b } x 1 0 . 2 - N P S H - H _ { 1 } - H _ { 1 } - H _ { 2 }
\mathsf { P } _ { \mathsf { b } } (204号 \mathbf { \Sigma } = \mathbf { \Sigma } Atmosphericpressureinbar.
NPSH \mathbf { \Sigma } = \mathbf { \Sigma } Pump's NPSH can be read from the pump's maxi-mum flowrateintheperformancecurvemarked in the catalogue.
Hf \mathbf { \Sigma } = \mathbf { \Sigma } Frictionlossinthewaterinletpipeatthemaximum flow rate required by the pump.
Hv \mathbf { \Sigma } = \mathbf { \Sigma } Gasification pressure of the transport medium at service temperature.
Hs \mathbf { \Sigma } = \mathbf { \Sigma } Safetymargin,to take0.5metersasthesmallest.
·If the calculated H is positive number, the maximum allwable suction lift for the pump is H meter. If the calculated H negative number, the minimum inlet pressure should be required to reach H meter.
4.3Maximum inletpressure
Maximumpressure forthesystemis8bar.
4.4The temperature of the conveying medium
Pump's conveying medium (excluding motor) temperature range from - 1 5 ^ { \circ } C to + 8 5 ^ { \circ } C
If ambient temperature is higher than 4 0 ^ { \circ } \mathsf { C } or media temperature surpasses the permissible range, it should be stated in the contract and grease should be(according to motor requirement) filled into the grease hole to lubricate the motor.
5 Installation
When installing the pump, the pump must be drilled ona horizontal, smooth hard foundation and bolted, according to the following procedures for installation.
● Step1
To confirm the direction of inletand outlet of medium.
●Step2
To check the pump catalogue,to determinethedistance between thepump inlet and outlet, centerheight, sizeand distance of anchor bolt and other parameters, the pipeline and the foundation must be matched with the catalogue size.
Step3
Pump installed as shown, but the motor can'tbeinstalledbelowthe installation level, also cannot be installed upside down.
● Step4
Inorderto reducenoise, itisadvisableto install expansion joints on both endsof thepump.Install isolationvalvesat each end of the pump to prevent system discharge if pump cleaning, maintenance, and replacement are required.
Step5
Ensure no cavitation during pipe installation, especially on the suction side of the pump.
●Step6
If installation appeared one of the following features, install a vacuum valve in the immediate vicinity of the pump suggested. 1)The discharge line slides down in the direction away from the pump. 2) Siphon phenomenon may occur. 3)Necessary to stop the backwash ofunclean water.
5.1Foundation
We recommend installing the pump ona concrete foundation, which must be sufficient to provide a permanent, consistent support of the pump as a whole. The foundation must be able to absorb vibration, normal stress or impact. The concrete foundation mustbeabsolutely horizontal and the surface flat, with the pump on the foundation.
Theexplanationof thelength,width,heightoffoundation:
Lengthand width of foundation mustbe over 2 0 0 ~ { {mm } } or more than the pump base.
The basic weight must be greater than 1.5 times the total weight of the pump. The minimum height of the foundationcan becalculated based on the concreteweight, density, and foundation length and width.
Installation in noise-freeoperation is particularly important,it is recommended that foundation weight should be 5 times than the pump weight. After the foundation bolts placed, the pump canbe placed ona foundationand,if necessary, leveled witha gasketat this point to hold the waterpump inacompletely horizontal position.
5.2 Damping to Reduce Vibration
If damping is used, the shock absorber must be mounted underneath the foundation.Install the shockabsorberasshownbelow:
5.3Outdoor Installation
For outdoor installation, arain shelter should be used to cover and protect the motor and pump.
5.4Installation Precautions
1)Motorshouldbe installed inaventilated,dry,ice-freeplace.
2) In order to facilitate the pump and motor maintenance, pump should be setaside for more than 5 0 0 \mathsf {mm } above the space.
3) During the Pipeline installation, pipe weight, valve weight, and weight of pipe fitings cannot be withstood on the pump, pipe and pump joints to use seals for sealing.
4) If need to installpressure gauge and flow meter, the pump inletand outlet pressure measurement pointsare generally located in the import flange upstream and downstream of the outlet flange twice the pipe diameter distance, the upstream of the electromagnetic flow meter straight pipe length should be greater than 5 times Pipe diameter distance;the downstreamstraight pipe length should be greater than 3 times the pipe diameter distance; measuring point 4 times the pipe diameter distance,No any elbow existed.
5) When the pump is used for self-priming,a water inlet plug anda bleeder plug in the drain pipe should be used inorder to facilitate the filing of liquid and exhaust gas.At the same time,to install the bottom valve, which at least 0 . 5 \mathsf { m } below than the liquid surface, see 4.2.
5.5OutletPosition Selection
Thepumpcan bebasedonspecial needs to choosea different exit location,if necessary, please specify in the order.See below.
6PrecautionNotices
6.1 Precaution notices:
1)The electrical connection must be operated by authorized electrician in accordance with local regulations.
2) Before removing the terminal cover to prepare for wiring or before disassembling and disassembling the pump, make sure that the power supply has been cut off and will not be accidentally connected.
3) The pump must be connected to the mains frequency power switch.
4)The operating voltage and frequency are marked on the motor's nameplate to ensure compatibilitybetween the motor and the power supplyand to ensure thatthe motor terminal box is properly wired.Thewiring diagram can be found in the terminal box.
