Product Overview
V-cone flow meter is a new type of throttling device that combines the advantages of classical Venturi and ring-shape
orifice plate, its theoretical principle is based on the law of conservation of energy Bernoulli's equation in closed pipe and
the flow continuity equation, the flow velocity in the pipe being steady flow is proportional to the square root of the
differential pressure.
V-cone flow meter has good stability, high accuracy, good repeatability, wide range ratio, low requirements for the
installation of the tube segment, small pressure loss, can measure medium containing particles, low-pressure fluids, high
moisture content gas and a variety of dirty fluids. Its successful development is a qualitative leap forward in differential
pressure flow measurement, which utilizes the throttling effect produced by the V cone in the flow field to measure the flow
rate by detecting the upstream and downstream differential pressure. Compared with a normal throttle, it has changed the
throttle layout from a center hole throttle to a ring throttle.
Practice has proved that the V cone flow meter, compared with other flow meters, has the advantages of high longterm accuracy, good stability, small limitations by the installation conditions, wear-resistant, wide measuring range, small
pressure loss, suitable for stained media and so on. In addition, the V-cone itself acts as a rectifier for the flow field, making
it an excellent new flow meter with unique performances. V cone flow meter, which is a combination of V cone sensor and
differential pressure transmitter, can measure the flow of all kinds of medium within a wide range of Reynolds number
