6.InstallationMethod
1.Automatic coupling installation ( Z ) : thecoupling device comprisesa guiderod,a guiderod frame, an outlet pipe seat and a coupling frame, connect pumps and pipes without fasteners, makes it easy to connect and disconnect pumpsand pipes; pumps with the same discharge port diameter can use the same coupling device, see Figure 1.
2.Fixed dry installation (G):the pump roomand the cistern are separated; the motor must have a cooling system. If the pumping room is flooded, the pump normal operation, see figure 2.
3.Fixed base installtion (P): maintenance inconvenienceafter pump operation,if the pipe isrigid enough, the anchor boltsmaynot be installed, see figure 3.
4.Movable instalation (Y、R):for emergency or repair, construction needs,it can be operated by connecting the hose or the tube with the base, itcanalso useasuficiently rigid drain line to suspend the pump for use,see figure 4.

7.UseandMaintenance
7.1Warning
7.11According to the safe electricity regulations, the electric pump must be grounded reliably to ensure safety.
7.12When the electric pump is running, people and other animalsshallnot enter the pool or touch the electric pump.
7.13Before moving,maintainingorrepairing theelectric pump,thepower should becutoffirst;
7.14 Do not pull the cable while the pump is running.
7.15 It is strictly forbidden to use the cableas lifting rope,or to crash or crimp the cable
7.16Electric pumps should not be used in flammableor explosive environments, norcan they transportflammableliquids.
7.2Check Before Use
7.21 Check the nameplate of the product to see whether the model specifications performance parametersmeet theactual use requirements.
7.22Comprehensively check whether the pump is deformed or damaged during transportation, storageand installation, whether thefastener is loose orfallingoffcheck whether thecableis damagedorbroken, andwhetherthecableinletsealisintact.Ifanydefectisfound, itshouldbedealt with timely and properly.
7.23Check the insulationresistance of thestatorwindings of themotorto the ground.Measured with 500vmegohmmeter,the value should be greater than 5oMΩatanormal ambient temperature of 5 ^ { \circ } \mathsf { C } andgreaterthan1oMΩatanambienttemperatureof 3 0 ^ { \circ } \mathsf { C } . Otherwise,themoistureshould be removed before use.
7.24 Check whether there is oil in the oil chamber and tighten the screw plug to ensure no leakage. 7.25 Check whether the pump rotation is flexible, steering is correct(it is counterclockwise when you seefromthewater inlet,if theelectricpumpisreversed, justswapanytwoof thethree-phase power connections.)
Note:Check that the powersupplyunit is safe, reliable, and properly grounded.
7.3Precautions forUse
7.31Lift pump should use a chain lock connected to the pump to makeit smooth. The pump should be vertical work, not immersed in sludge.
7.32Discharge lineshouldbe instaled flow control valve toprevent thepump flowis too large to lead to motor overload.
7.33The electric pumpmust beequipped witha fully automatic water pump control cabinet without special circumstances, itcannotbeconnected tothepowersupplydirectlyorwith knifeswitch toensure thenormal operation of the pump.
7.34Theelectric pump shallnot beoperated inalowlift state foralong time (the normal head shall not be less than 7 0 % of therated head) to prevent the electric pump from burning themotordue to overload.
7.4 Start and Run
Theflowregulating valve onthe outletpipe shouldbe closedwhile starting, graduallyopen the valve when the pump is running at full speed.
Note:Itis not allowed tooperate fora long timeunder lowflow oreven when the outlet valve is closed. It is forbidden to run the pumpat super flowrate.
7.5Stop
Close the valve on the outlet pipe and stop.
7.6Maintenance
7.51Thepumpshouldbemanaged byspecialperson, and regularlycheck whetherthe insulationresistance between the motorwindingand the casing isnormal and the grounding is reliable.
7.52Afternormaloperationforhalfayear,checkoilconditioninoilchamber.If theoilisemulsified,replaceit withN10orN15mechanical oil,refuelingmust leave 1 0 % gapnotfull.Keep themechanical seal ina good lubricationstateand improve itsservice life.
7.53Thesealing ring between the pump bodyand the impeller hasasealing function,if the seal ring is damaged;it willdirectly affect the performance of the pumpand should be replaced if necessary.
7.54After theelectric pump is disassembledand repaired, the casing componentsmust bechecked by
0.2MPaair tightnesstesttoensure themotorsealing isreliable.
7.55If the electricpumpisnotusedfora long time, should notbeimmersed inwaterforalong time,it should belifted from the water(toreduce thestator windingsofthemotor moisture),cleanandapplyrust-proof paint inadry and ventilated place.
Note:Disassembly inspection of mechanical seals, motors, oil chambers and cables should be carriedoutbyprofessionalmaintenancepersonnel.
8.SubmarineCableConnection
·When the cable length of submersible electric pump cannotmeet the installationrequirements of users, external cableshall be connected, andthewiring shouldbe operated bydedicated electrician.Thecable cross-sectionalareaisdeterminedbytheinstallationlength,motorpowerandstartingmode,themotor cableand theexternal cableconnectorarerequiredtobereliablysealedand insulatedwithcertain strength, the joint process isas follows:
8.1Strip the copper core of the cable on the submersible pump toa length of about 3 0 ~ 3 5mm as shown inthefigure below, rubthecopperwirewithanemerycloth tomakeitshinyalsostripthecopperwire of theexternal three-corecableby 3 0 ~ 3 5 ~ {mm } andwipe it cleanwithanemery cloth.
8.2Asshownin the figurebelow, insert thecopper wirestripped from thethree-corecableinto the externalcableinpairs, and then tie tightlywithafinecopper wire, cutofftherestand press itflat with scissors and willnot prick your hand.Three roots use the same binding method.
8.3Prepareasmalliron box orsmallironpot (itcanhold three thread ends),place thesolderina potover high heat until the solder melts, applya proper amountof soldering oil to the three wire endsand quickly putthem into thepot tobefirmly welded, requiresmoothsurfaceof thesoldering tips,no burrand false soldering,if itisnot weldedornot smooth,itshouldbere-weldeduntilmeet therequirements. 8.4Asshown inthefigure below, when wrapping withpolyesterinsulation tape, besuretocover halfof thefirstcircle,wrap8to12 layers (semi-stack packing),after wrapping, wrap twomore layersof plastic tape forstrength protection.
8.5Asshown below, wrap three pieces of wire togetherwith two layers plastic tape, the first layer exceeds 5 0 {mm } oftheinsulated end of eachwire, thesecond layer ismore than 5 0 \mathsf {mm } above the end of the first layer, must be tightlywound to eliminate air spaceasmuchas possible.
8.6After the bandaging, take a basin of cold water and completely soak the bandaged thread head in water,after12 hours, the insulationshall not be less than 50 MΩ measured witha 500V megohmmeter, or it shall be repackaged until the requirements are met.
8.7 The grounding wire of the submersible pump must also be bandaged according to the diving cablewiring process requirements.
