Advantages of Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
1.The flow is spacious and the passing performance is good.The maximum particle diameter allowed is 9 . 5 \mathsf {mm } .When pumping mud and impurities,there is little wear on the pump;
2.The pneumatic diaphragm pump does not need to be filld with water,the suction stroke is as highas4.2 meters,and the head is 83 meters;
3.The pneumatic diaphragm pump has no rotating parts,no shaft seal,the pumped diaphragm and other media are completely separated from the moving parts and workpiece medium of the pump,and the conveyed media willnot leak out.Therefore,when pumping toxic,volatile or corrosive media,it will not cause environmental pollution and endanger personal safety; 4.The head and flow can be adjusted steplessly through the valve opening (the air pressure adjustment is 1-8.3bar);
5.It can be submerged in the medium to work;
6.With no need to use electricity,itis safe and reliableto be used in flammable and explosive places; 7.The pneumatic diaphragm pump has a simple structure and a few wearing parts.Itis easy to install and maintain the pump.The medium conveyed by the pump willnot touch the moving parts such as gas path and connecting rod,unlike other types of pumps due to rotors and pistons, gears,blades and other parts which performance gradually decreases due to wear and tear; 8.Easy to use,reliable work,simply open and close the gas valve to start and stop it;even if the pump runs without medium fora long time due to unexpected circumstances or the pump suddenly stops,it willnot be damaged.Once overloaded,the pump will automatically stop.With self-protection function,the pump can start automatically when the load returns to normal; 9.Viscous liquid can be transported;
10.The shearing force to materials is extremely low: itis about how to suck in and out when working,so the agitation to materials is minimal,which is suitable fortransportation of unstable substances.
Working Principle of Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump
The pneumatic diaphragm pump obtains power source by compressing air.
It is a pneumatic self-priming pump,a new type of conveying machinery,and is the latest one in domestic pump products.It is a positive displacement pump with volume change caused by diaphragm reciprocating deformation,and its working principleis similar to thatofa plunger pump.
The outer edge of the diaphragm is bolted to the pump fluid chamber cover and the bowl-shaped outer edge plane of the motor body,which is located between the motor body and the fluid chamber cover.The bowl-shaped chamber of the motor body and the fluid chamber are separated into two parts,of which the chamber close to the motor body is the air chamber,and is divided into left and rightair chambers;the chamber nearthe fluid chamber coveris the fluid chamber,which is divided into left and right fluid chambers.Two disc-shaped diaphragms are connected by a diaphragm connecting rodto form a moving whole.Driven by the high-pressure air,the diaphragmassembly moves, which changes the direction of high-pressure air flow through the secondary controladjustment of the reversing valve and the unbalanced valve to realize the reciprocating movement of the diaphragm assembly along the axis of the diaphragm connecting rod.
When the diaphragm assembly moves to acertain position,the rigid diaphragm pad at the left diaphragm contacts the left end surface of the reversing valve stem,and drives the reversing valve stem tomove to the right together until it moves to the limit positionof the reversing valve slide bar. The position variation of the reversing valve changes the gas inand out state in the front end of the unbalanced valve cavity,and also the position of the unbalanced valve cavity is changed.The position variation of the unbalanced valve cavity changes the flow direction of gas in and out of the gas cavity.The air cavity on the right changes from air intake to exhaust,the air cavity on the left changes from exhaust to air intake,the liquid chamber on the right changes from drainage to fluid intake,and the liquid chamber on the left changes from fluid intake to drainage.The left cavity diaphragm moves to the left due to the gas entering and reversing,and the diaphragm connecting rod assembly starts a new pump cycle.
Accompanied by the proper movement of the reversing valve and the unbalanced valve secondary control valve.
