Shandong Haichuang Fan Co., Ltd. is located in Wucheng County,
Dezhou City, Shandong Pronce. It is a joint-stock cooperative enterprise
integrating design, production, and marketing, with a current workforce of 186
employees. The total investment is 1.573 ban, covering an area of 480 mu. The
company has constructed 28 standardized production workshops with a total
construction area of 350,000 sq meters. The fan project has purchased 90 sets
of production equipment, including high-speed punch presses, fully automatic
welding machines, laser cutting machines, fully automatic CNC shearing macly
automatic CNC bending machines, hydraulic presses, CNC lathes, and highefficiency fan assembly lines.

Overview
Naming convention
Product type
The AWF series centrifugal air conditioning fans are low-noise, compact fans independently developed by referencing advanced technologies of similar international products. With a rated air volume of 1000m3
/h to
20000m3
/h and a total pressure of 200Pa to 850Pa, they fedirect drive via external rotor motors, offering high
efficiency, low noise, high flow rate, small size, and a compact structure. They are ideal supporting products for
variable air volume air onditioners, ducted air conditioning units, VAV systems, and other HVAC and purification
equipment.
1. Direction of rotation
The AWF series fans are classified into left-hand rotation (LG) and right-hand rotation (RG). When viewed
from the motor terminal side, fans with clockwise impelrotation are called right-hand rotation fans, and those
with counterclockwise rotation are called left-hand rotation fans.

Product structure
The AWF series fan is mainly composed of five parts: the casing, impeller, support plate (frame), motor, and
outlet flange.
1. Casing
The casing is made of hot-dip galvanized steel plate. The side panels feature an aerodynamic shape, and
the inls integrally drawn. The volute is spot-welded to the side panels to form a single unit. A series of rivet nut
holes are pre-set on the side panels tinstallation according to the user's required outlet direction.
2. Impeller
The forward-curved multi-blade impeller is made of high-quality hot-dip galvanized l plate. The blades are
designed in a specific aerodynamic shape to achieve maximum efficiency and minimum noise. The blades are
secured to the mid-plate and end ring with rivet clag sufficient rigidity during continuous operation at maximum
power. All impellers undergo static and dynamic balancing tests, with an internal control accuracy reaching G2.5
grad (ANSI/AMCA-204).
3. Support Plate (Frame)
The support plate is made of high-quality galvanized sheet metal. A unique reinforcement process ensures
sufficient strength, and the instalion angle of the support plate can be adjusted according to different user
requirements. For fans of AWF315 and above, the frame is welded from angle steel and flat iron. Instalon holes
are punched on all four sides of the frame to meet user requirements for installation in different directions.
4. Motor
The AWF series fans are equipped with external rotor low three-phase asynchronous motors,
characterized by a fixed shaft and rotating housing. The motor is mounted on the impeller mid-plate and directly
drives the impeller via the rotation of the mtor housing. According to user requirements, the AWF series fans
can be equipped with special motors that support stepless speed regulation using methods such as threephase voltage regulators, thyristor voltag regulators, or variable frequency drives, to adapt to the varying
requirements of the system.
2. Discharge Direction
The AWF series fans can be manufactured in four discharge directions: 0° , 90° 180° , and 270° , as
shown in Figure 1.

5. Flange
The flange is manufactured from high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel plate, and the connection between
the flange and the housing adopts the TOX weld-free procesfeaturing an exquisite appearance with sufficient
stiffness and strength. The flange opening size and type refer to Figure 2.

Description
1) The motor power rating for the fan refers to the internal power plus a safety factor for the motor capacity
under specific operating conditions; it is nwer required when the outlet is fully open. Therefore, to prevent motor
burnout due to overload, the fan must not be operated without any external resistance.
2) The fan perform data in the catalog is based on tests conducted at the rated speed of the selected motor. We
can also adjust the motor speed to meet actual user requirements.
3) During transportation aandling, the fan should be handled with care. Impact and crushing are strictly
prohibited, and the fan must not be stacked in damp or corrosive environments.
4) Before installation, manualltate the impeller to check for excessive tightness or collision. Only proceed with
the trial run after confirming there are no such issues.
5) When connecting the ductwork to the ft and outlet, flexible connections should be used as much as possible,
and the joints must not be pulled too tight.
6) After installation, check the casing and internal compartments to ens no tools or debris are left behind.
7) Before formal operation, verify that the impeller rotation direction matches the marking on the side plate.
8) When placing an order, pleasecify the fan model, motor model, air volume, air pressure, and other
parameters.

Product performance
Installation and Usage
Ordering Instructions
The fan performance parameters in the catalog refer to performance under standard inlet conditions. If the
operating conditions differ from the standard inlet conditions, conversion to standard conditbe performed before
selection. The rotational speed shown in the catalog is the standard motor speed at 380V, 50Hz; if the actual
voltage or frequency , the actual fan speed will vary slightly. The standard inlet conditions are: atmospheric
pressure pt=101325Pa, inlet temperature ta=20℃ , relativehumidity φ=50%, and air density ρ=1.2kg/m3
.
1. Before installing the fan, conduct a strict inspection of all components, especially rotating parts such as
the impeller and motoIf damage is found, repair it before proceeding with installation. At the same time, check
the inside of the casing to ensure no tools or debris have fallen in or been left behind toent impeller damage or
accidents during operation.
2. When installing the fan, do not place the weight of the ductwork on the casing. Ensure the shaft is in a
horizontal on. If using flexible connections, do not over-tighten the joints.
3. Do not forcibly pull the motor power leads. The motor power leads must be secured immediately after the
fan installed in position.
4. Tighten all connection bolts and anchor bolts.
5. After installation, manually rotate the impeller to check for collisions or rubbing against the casing well as
any other abnormal noises.
6. Only power on and test run the fan after ensuring there are no abnormalities. During the test run, check
if the impeller rotation direction isrrect and if the operating current matches the rated current specified on the
motor nameplate.
7. The motor power rating for the fan refers to the internal power plus a safety factor for specific operatin
conditions, not the power required when the outlet is fully open. Therefore, to prevent motor burnout from
overloading, it is strictly prohibited to run the fan without external ree. To ensure safe operation, a motor phase
loss protection device must also be installed.
8. If abnormal noises or severe vibrations occur during operation, stop the fan immediately for inspecti
9. Keep the fan clean and regularly remove debris from the blades to prevent impeller imbalance.
10. The motor bearings are fully enclosed, maintenance-free bearings. Their lifespan varies with the
operatingenvironment. If abnormal noises occur from the bearings, check and replace them immediately, or
contact the manufacturer for repair.
Please specify the fan model, air volume, air pressure, outlet direction, rotation direction, and motor model
when ordering. Any other special requirements must be spec at the time of ordering.
