SOLUTION FOR BUILDINGS
ZG lightning protection solutions meet China standard GB 50057/ GB 50343-2012 (IEC 62305)
which includes direct lightning protection, shielding, equipotential bonding, reasonable wiring,
earthing, installation of surge protective devices etc. to build up a comprehensive lightning
protection system. Installation of lightning protection system applies standard of NFPA 780.
Ancient architecture applies China standard of GB 51017-2014 (IEC 62305).

We provide the professional and safe measures to buildings against
lightning through direct lightning protection, common earthing system and
integrated measures against LEMP.
Our protection concept for buildings is based on common earthing,
integrated measures and multistage discharge of over current & over voltage.
Direct lightning protection:

method and set up protection ring belt

Earthing system:

3-STAGE PROTECTION
FOR POWER
DISTRIBUTION
SYSTEM
ClassⅠ SPD shall be installed at general distribution cabinet (LPZ0A or boundary between LPZ0B
and LPZ1) or at connective interface between low voltage cable and overhead supply line. The SPD
impulse discharge current I generally shall be more than 12.5 kA for each protection mode and voltage imp
protection level shall be less than 2.5 kV.
Decoupling device shall be installed between different class level SPDs when connective wire is <10 m
between switch type SPD and voltage limiting type SPD as well as connective wire is <5 m between
voltage limiting type SPDs.
The SPD has the tripping function and degradation display.

SIGNAL LINE
PROTECTION
Signal SPD shall be installed at boundary of LPZ (LPZ0A or boundary between LPZ0B and LPZ1). Select
single class SPD or coordinated SPDs based on amplitude of overvoltage, overcurrent and rated value of
impulse voltage withstanding at equipment interface.
The selection of SPD shall match with the transmission rate, operational voltage and interface type. The
SPD output port shall connect to equipment protected.
