Second Method: NVR connect IPC1, then cascading IPC2 and IPC3;
Third Method: NVR connect IPC1, IPC2 cascading IPC1;
Note on IPC installation location:
When installing IPC the recommended locations are between the NVR and IPC1, between IPC1 and IPC2, and between IPC2 and IPC3, in areas with a signal strength of -60dB to -51dB and smooth video playback. This environmental configuration is recommended for all three installation methods.
Manual cascading configuration method:
First, successfully connect to the Wi-Fi IPC. After switching the cascading mode to manual cascading, begin configuring the cascading, as shown in the image below
The first method is to cascade channel 2 to channel 1, and then cascade channel 3 to channel 2;
a.For manual cascading, first place the IPC close to the NVR and configure the cascading, then, based on the manual configured cascading, place the IPC further away(installation method has been described earlier);
b.After manual cascading, the search device can only find the first-level IPC, that is, the IPC directly connected to the NVR. The second and third-level IPC cannot be found.
Automatic Cascading Configuration Method:
First, successfully connect to the Wi-Fi IPC. Then, move the IPC a little further away. Next, switch the cascading mode to automatic cascading and click save. A pop-up window will appear saying "Configuring...", as shown in the image below.
After successful automatic cascading configuration, the automatic cascading structure topology diagram information will be displayed, as shown in the figure below;
a. After automatic cascading, the search device can only find the first-level IPC, that is, the IPC directly connected to the NVR. The second and third-level IPC cannot be found.
b. IPC that are too close to NVR will not automatically cascade; they will generally only cascade automatically when the signal strength is below -45dB.
c.The method for automatically cascading and installing cameras has been introduced previously.
Close Cascading:
The device has successfully connected to the IPC. After selecting "Disable Cascading" in the cascading mode and clicking "Save," the IPC and NVR are now directly connected, as shown in the image below:
