INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONSANDDESIGNREQUIREMENTS

The corresponding dimensions for the installation of PTFE oil seals are shown in the figure: (Unit: inches 1 \ { I N } = 2 5 . 4 MM)

The installation of PTFE oil seals is relatively simple.However, if the lip seal is pressed too hard, it may be damaged and cause leakage. Therefore, when installing, please use a guide sleeve to assist the installation. The design of the guide sleeve is as shown in the following figure:

Please seal the oil seal inward from the small end of the guide sleeve, apply even force to push it towards the large end, until the oil seal is successfully installed onto the shaft.

Carefully insert the oil seal into the installation guide sleeve,ensuring that the oil seal is perpendicular to the guide sleeve.Please follow the principle:the sealing lip should face the sealingmedium.

3.Gently push the oil seal onto the shaft or sleeve, and remove the installation guide sleeve. Please note:Do not leave the installation guide sleeve on the shaft.

2.Insert the guide sleeve into the shaft or the edge of the shaft sleeve.If there is a matching sleeve, first install the sleeve (heat it to 80 to 10o degrees with hot oil,and then install it hotly).

4.Apply professional sealant(Loctite 60l/641) to the outer ring of the oil seal:
Slowly push the oil seal into the installation hole. It is recommended to use a hydraulic press or a stop plate to ensure that the oil seal enters the installation hole horizontally.
