“CATHSE”是一种创新型文物预防性保护技术，是由围护结构密封技术、气体洁净技术、湿度调控技术、氧含量调控技术、智能控制和信息化技术等组成，五项技术互为支撑。通过将文物与外部环境隔离，防止大气中的有害生物、污染气体、湿度变化、灰尘和光照对文物的影响，形成高密闭“恒湿、洁净、低氧、稳定”的小微环境，实现文物本体的长期预防性保护，达到“杀虫防虫、防霉抑菌、防污染、防化学腐蚀、减少累积性损害”等综合效果。
