The SPP P grommets are suitable for cables

without connectors. They are used cutting

the cone corresponding to the diameter

of the cable. The cable is then routed into

the grommet where the internal shape is

The SPP M grommets have a dual function:

they can be used as “blind” grommets for

future application of multiple cables without

connector or they can be used in the DES

splittable frame as multi grommets for non

terminated cables. The double membrane

ensures the highest water and dust protection.

SPP Z3 is a grommet for flat cables designed

to accomodate different sizes. The piercable

membrane has multiple sections. It works with

the existing DES frames without the need of a

dedicated frame. When the cable perforates the

membrane it crosses the wall and it is protected

from dust and water and offers a very good

strain relief. It is particularly recommended for

dynamic applications in industrial automation,

robotics and cable chains, where flat cables are

subject to frequent and continuous movements,

to ensure protection against dust and water and

effective strain relief at the entry point.

Thanks to the integrated thread, the SPP F

series can be used as terminals for sensors,

pneumatics, etc.

SPP VENT is agrommet with a pressure-compensating valve, recommended for

environments requiring uniform pressure. The depressurising grommet is inserted

into DES splittable frames and thanks to its valve, it compensates for the pressure

of the environment and thus avoiding temperature differences and consequent

condensation. The ventilation element has an M12x1.5 thread which can be

removed to use threaded connectors and sensors.

The DES PDM 24 FT is an innovative

alternative to standard cable glands

on electrical, electronic cabinets and

equipment. The cable is pushed through

the front membrane, whilst the second

membrane increases the strain relief and

liquid tightness.

They are equipped with threaded inserts

for M4 screws and with front closing caps,

which allow assembly from the rear of the

frame and keep the product clean from the

front, preventing dirt from depositing in the

screw seats.
