Epic Homes — Malaysia.
Every family deserves a place to call home. Partnering with Epic Homes, we sent 30 KIAN volunteers into rural Malaysia — trading desks for hammers and nails to build a house for an Orang Asli family, Malaysia's indigenous people, in just three days. It is our way of giving back to the communitieswhere we operate. Because we are always Better Together.
With Our Clients
McDonald's — Wenzhou, China
McDonald's 4,000th restaurant in China needed furniture that met global quick-service durability standards while visibly demonstrating sustainable principles to every customer. We supplied seating made from Ocean-Bound Plastic, alongside a children's chair moulded from discarded Happy Meal toys. The outlet became the first in the Yangtze River Delta to earn LEED Gold certification.
Shatin Municipal Hall — Hong Kong
The Shing Mun River carries close to 17 million pieces of plastic towards the ocean each year. Rather than design around that problem, we designed with it. Working with HIR Studio, we built a local collection chain that gathered 500kg of household plastic from Sha Tin in two months and upcycled it into 12 bespoke benches, their interlocking curves shaped to echo the river's ripples. Visitors now rest on the very plastic that once threatened their waterway.
