钢平台其结构最大的特点是全组装式结构，设计灵活，在现代的存储中较为广泛应用。由钢材制成的工程结构通常由型钢和钢板等制成的梁、柱、板等构件组成，各部分之间用焊接、螺丝或铆钉等连接，顶层为平台形式。通常承载能力在300-1000kg/m，可用圆管、方管或H型钢作为楼面支撑，也可用货架做楼面支撑，根据跨度及承载不同，采用不同规格主次梁。充分利用库房的上部空间，整体组装，无需现场焊接。

·模具货架主要由立柱片、抽屉层、拉杆、自锁装置等组成使用于存放各种模具，一般成排使用，顶部可以配置手拉葫芦鸡水平移动小车可以方便模具的起吊，抽屉层可以移出2/3。抽屉层主要由滑轨、层板组成，层板由于受力框架和钢板组成。每条滑轨由两个轴承前后上下固定，可以在导向槽内随意滚动，阻力小，可以单手轻松拉出抽屉，降低了劳动强度。自锁装置由定位弹簧及销轴组成，保证了抽屉就位后不能在动，而在行程范围内不影响抽屉运作。
