SALT BATH QUENCHING

盐浴淬火

等温淬火是指工件淬火加热后，若长期保持在下贝氏体转变区的温度，使之完成奥氏体的等温转变，获得下贝氏体组织的淬火方式。下贝氏体组织的强度、硬度较高而韧性较好，故等温淬火可显著提高钢的综合力学性能。等温盐浴淬火的过程中，工件受热均匀，变形量小，能够减少工件的氧化和脱碳现象。等温盐浴淬火后的工件表面质量高，能够形成致密的保护膜，提高工件的疲劳寿命和耐磨性。

Isothermal quenching refers to the quenching method of the workpiece after quenching heating, if the temperature of the lower bainite transition zone is maintained fora long time to complete theisothermal transitionofausteniteand obtain thelowerbainitestructure.Thelowerbainite structurehashigher strength and hardness and better toughness, so isothermal quenching can significantly improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of steel. In the process of isothermal salt bath quenching, the workpiece is heated uniformly and the deformation is small, which can reduce the oxidation and decarburization of the workpiece.Thesurface quality of theworkpiece after quenching by isothermal salt bath is high,whichcanform a denseprotective filmand improvethefatiguelifeandwearresistanceoftheworkpiece.
