VIKTOR ŠEST

Viktor Šest je rojen 1956 v Ljubljani.

Diplomiral je 1981 na Akademiji za likovno umetnost v Ljubljani.

Od leta 1984 se ukvarja samo s slikarstvom.

Živi in ustvarja v Mariboru.

V svojem več kot četrtletje dolgem ustvarjalnem obdobju je imel več kot 100 samostojnih in skupinskih razstav,

ilustriral in opremil veliko knjig ter kot oblikovalec lutk in scene sodeloval pri treh lutkovnih predstavah.

Za svoje delo je prejel naslednje nagrade.

1989 – Maribor, Odkupna nagrada Umetnostne galerije Maribor

1990 – Berlin, Odkupna nagrada Berlinske Garphoteke

1991 – Maribor, Odkupna nagrada Umetnostne galerije Maribor

1997 – Maribor, Glazerjevo priznanje za ilustracije v knjigi Zorka Simčiča

VIKTOR ŠEST

Viktor Šest was born in 1956 in Ljubljana.

He graduated in 1981 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana.

Since 1984 he has been involved on with painting.

He lives and paints in Maribor.

In his more than a quarter century of creative working time he has had more than 100 individual and group

exhibitions; he has illustrated many books and participated in three puppet shows as a puppet designer and

stage artist.

For his work he has received the following awards:

1989 - Maribor, Honorary prize from the Art Gallery Maribor

1990 - Berlin, Honorary prize from the Graphothek Berlin

1991 - Maribor, Honorary prize from the Art Gallery Maribor

1997 - Maribor, Glazer Award for illustrations for the Zorka Simčič book
