The SANTAK industrial UPS is specifically designed to cater to theapplicationcharacteristics of wind farms.It meets the stringent requirementsof harsh conditions in wind farms,such as poor power grid quality,large fluctuations inambient temperature,high dust levels,unattended operation,and dificult maintenance, providing safeand stable power protection for the electrical systems of wind turbines.As the most critical component of a wind turbine generator system,the converter requires a continuous and stable power environment to operate efectively.When thewind turbine disconnects from thegridorexperiences voltage dips,SANTAK's UPS can provide a safe and stable power supply to ensure uninterrupted operation.
UPS application in the wind power industry
According totherequirementsofthe Chinesenationalstandard "TechnicalRegulations forConnecting Wind Farms toPower Systems."wind turbine generator systems should possess LowVoltage Ride-Through (LVRT)capability.
LVRT requirements:
When the grid-connected voltagedrops to 2 0 % of the nominal voltage, the wind turbine generator set should remain in the grid-connected state forno lessthan 625ms. :When the grid voltage recovers to 9 0 % of the nominal voltage within2 seconds,thewind turbineshouldremainconnected tothe gridand continue to operate.
