Self-Tailing, Human Suspension Capstan Winch
The LokHead is a proven high-load, low-friction winch that is the perfect choice for
weight-critical jobs where safety and load management are the number one priority. It can
be used anywhere a load needs to be lifted or lowered. Rigged to a tripod, it can be used
for confined-space rescue operations, for load moving/hauling, and personnel-hoisting.
When used in combination with the LokHead winch kit the TelluMount provides a myriad
of rigging solutions, either on the ground or other flat surface, or mounted to a wall. The
TelluMount is a perfect tool for confined space operations and other rope access operations.
LIGHTWEIGHT
The LokHead winch and mounting bracket can be incorporated into a rescue/lifting
system without significantly increasing overall weight.
RELIABLE
The braking system controls descent and provides workers protection against free falls.
The encapsulating jaw cover protects fingers and clothing from catching in the winch.
DRIVE FLEXIBILITY
The winch can be driven manually with the provided B10AL handle. Alternatively, use a
compatible power drill with the available power tool adapter (for lifting goods or equipment
only) to drive the winch. Use only 40:1 mechanical advantage direction on power drill.
ERGONOMIC
Easy to rig and efficient, the LokHead makes the most of the operator’s efforts.

SNATCHET
19
Elevate Your Rigging Game with Unmatched Versatility
The Harken Snatchet provides the rigging flexibility to answer heavy lifting challenges
in difficult settings by combining high efficiency pulley engineering with a familiar and
intuitive carabiner-based anchoring system well established in mountaineering and
working-at-height. The result is a very flexible device easy to install and remove, that
may be introduced to the middle of an existing rope system.
Harken Snatchet is available both with and without an internal ratchet. Ratcheting versions
engage via a sliding on-off switch on the unit and may be used in either mode.
The sheave in the ratcheting version is equipped with facets to increase rope holding
power. The non-ratcheting version offers a traditional smooth pulley. The pulley sideplates
on either option are made of fiber-reinforced composite material to keep them light.
Sheaves are stainless steel and the ANSI-certified locking carabiner is carbon steel.
• Rope can be engaged without disconnecting the anchor point;
• Closer distance between the anchor point and the rope positioning;
• Large pulley diameter to limit the rope stress;
• No risk of wrong positioning between pulley and carabiner;
• Wider space for the rope passage;
• Ratchet system can be “activated/deactivated” under load.

WINGMAN
20
21
Best in Class Dedicated 4:1 or 5:1 Pulley System
Harken’s Wingman applies new design and technology to achieve more from a compact
personal mechanical advantage system. Wingman’s innovative design makes it among the
first offerings in this category to achieve internal progress capture mechanically within the
unit rather than relying on prusiks to achieve that externally.
Wingman combines a ratcheting sheave to stop the rope with a composite handle or wing
the operator can open and close under load for a well-modulated, fine-tuned release
Under full load even with the sheaves pulled completely together, the system may be
released quite easily--with full control using one hand on the wing and the other tending
the line. The Wingman has a minimum overall length of just 8” which means more
clearance under a tripod and more throw during a pick-off.
The device is also ideal for creating adjustable directionals, work positioning, and
much more. It may be configured as a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage system. These
revolutionary features plus ball bearings within the sheaves that maximize efficiency for
raising and lowering loads of up to 309 kg, make Wingman a simple tool you will always
want by your side.
• Comes in an industrial-grade ballistic nylon carrying case with locking buckle. The
case includes drawstring and drain grommets to separate the unit and line for proper
deployment and line drying.
• Wingman is available in three different rope lengths: 3 m throw, 9 m throw, and 15 m throw.

Speeds Up Rescue and Rope Access Operations
The Harken Ninja foot ascender makes rope Access and Rescue easier because it
reduces rope drag to the lowest of any available foot ascender. This means that there
are smoother and easier first steps because you don’t have to counterweight the rope or
reach down to pull the rope through the unit – resulting in increased productivity. The entry
fairlead maintains correct rope alignment.
Unlike every other foot ascender on the market, Harken’s dual cam system, based
on the marine Cam-Matic ball bearing cleats, applies pressure to both sides of rope
simultaneously. This provides more thorough holding power and even force than
competitive designs whose cams act on just one side of the rope against a fixed wall on
the other side. Other foot ascenders use an aggressive barbed single cam that can create
additional drag on the line or damage the rope cover.
The Ninja foot ascender uses a transverse ribbed cam instead of barbs which prevents
accidental kick-outs. It is also the first foot ascender that can work on either foot, and
has fully adjustable straps.
