Impulse Workshop Team Development

The first workshop in this year's series of events for our team leaders at LOGICDATA - organized by PINET - took place last week. An external leadership trainer gave exciting insights into the topic of team development and the SCARF model, which deals with basic needs according to brain research. The LOGICDATA team successfully completed group exercises, exchanged information, solved problems and created new perspectives thanks to numerous new impulses and approaches.

Guest Lectures for Students

LOGICDATA was invited to give guest lectures at regional schools and universities in the first quarter of 2025. Paul Salzmann and Fabian Schneeberger gave interesting and inspiring talks about how we generate new product ideas and how we successfully develop our mechatronic solutions. The enthusiastic students, coming from the field of mechatronics and production technology, gained insights insights into how mechatronics and innovation work in interdisciplinary and international team settings. It was a true pleasure that we had the chance to exhibit our joint PoE height-adjustable desk at Cisco Live in Amsterdam. This new Power Over Ethernet drive system, which blends into the future-proof workplaces introduced by Cisco is the result of extraordinary product development that LOGICDATA accomplished with Sedus and Cisco. This collaboration with Sedus as one of the leading European manufacturers for office solutions and Cisco as a worldwide technology leader, is a huge success.

LOGICDATA North America 2025 Brings New Updates at our Cedar Springs, Michigan Location

This quarter, LOGICDATA North America has added some new office décor to really make us feel at home in our new office. Brightening up the space and adding our logo really brought the corporate culture here to the US.

We have also finalized our new joint corporate culture area which highlights the values, business units, and global footprint of JIECANG and LOGICDATA.

The JFS January Furniture Show in Birmingham is a key event for the UK furniture industry, bringing top global brands to showcase the latest designs. This year, JIECANG Europe joined the show for the first time, bringing smart-driven products to engage with partners from all over the globe.

Although the decision to attend came late, but thanks to the close collaboration between the booth builders, marketing, and sales teams, everything came together smoothly. The ergonomic standing desks and smart lifting systems were praised for their smooth performance and stability. The interactive demos gave customers a hands-on experience of JIECANG’s innovative technology.

In addition to showcasing products, we also had valuable discussions with brand owners and distributors to understand market needs and trends. The four days were busy and productive, giving us a better understanding of the industry and the future direction of our business in the UK market.

The Town Hall event has been changed from a quarterly to a monthly event to reward outstanding employees.

The first event of the year, the Town Hall, was held on January 24th, just before the Chinese New Year.

Giving Ang Bao during New Year has become a tradition at J-Star Motion. On February 4th, the seventh day of the Chinese New Year, also known as "RenRi" (the "Birthday of Everyone"), J-Star staff have received a blessing from the company.

The lion dance kicked off the new year for J-Star Motion, wishing the company greater achievements this year!

In 2025, we are not only increasing our Steps Monthly Challenge to 200,000 steps but also raising the number of top winners to three, with each winner receiving a 50 MYR cash voucher. Those who meet the target will receive a 20 MYR cash voucher.

After an internal selection, J-Star sent two teams to compete in the bowling tournament organized by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) and had a joyful weekend with other manufacturers.

The monthly birthday party celebrates this month’s birthday stars. This year, birthday gifts will be presented in the form of mystery boxes.

The first batch of foreign workers who have served for two years returned to their hometowns for family visits in February and March, a total of 15 workers. For the 14 who did not return, J-Star arranged a trip to Malaysia’s Legoland with their supervisors. All arrangements were made by the company.

Empowering the Next Generation: J-Star at Cedar Springs High School Career Expo

On January 29th, J-Star North America had the privilege of volunteering at Cedar Springs High School's Career, College, and Life Readiness (CCLR) EXPO. We engaged with 7th-12th grade students, sharing insights into various career opportunities and pathways from high school graduation to a fulfilling career in their chosen vocations. Our employees were able to share their experiences and provide invaluable guidance and inspiration, showing that there are many routes to success. This day holds the potential to significantly impact the life trajectories of several young individuals within our wonderful community.

Gratitude in Action: Appreciation Breakfast for Employees

On March 4th, J-Star North America Leadership Team, served breakfast to the employee to thank you them for their hard work and dedication to the company. (The blueberry pancakes were the favorite!)
