From good to bad: high quality stainless steel, brass (commonly used H59 or H62), aluminum magnesium alloy (commonly known as

space aluminum), etc.

The surface treatment of stainless steel pendants is generally polished, and the surface of brass is generally chrome-plated

a)High-quality 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and can pass 300 hours neutral salt spray test without rusting.

b) Due to the characteristics of the material itself, the brass material inevitably contains lead and other heavy metals in production, and its price is higher than

that of stainless steel.

c) Aluminum-magnesium alloy has the advantages of light weight, durability, high strength and corrosion resistance, and the style is also very beautiful, but it

will become black after a long time.

a) The polished matt surface of stainless steel has the metallic luster of stainless steel, which is scratch resistant; the mirrored surface is bright and moist,

and the visual effect is better than matt.

b) The quality of brass chrome-plated hardware will be affected by the thickness of the coating. If the coating is too thin, it will easily fall off and deform.

Therefore, choosing products from regular manufacturers will be more guaranteed;

c) The surface of aluminum-magnesium alloy is usually treated with anodizing, and the surface has no metallic luster, so the visual effect is not as good as

brass chrome plating and stainless steel polishing.

a) The tensile strength of 304 stainless steel is 575MPa, about 2 times that of brass and 2 times that of aluminum magnesium alloy (space aluminum). The

hardness can reach 38 ~ 45HRC. It is the hardest of the three materials and has strong deformation resistance.

b) The tensile strength of brass (H59 or H62) is about 296MPa, and its hardness is lower than that of stainless steel.

c) Aluminum-magnesium alloy (space aluminum) has the lowest density among the three materials, and its tensile strength is usually not more than 300

MPa.

a) The processing procedure of stainless steel products is as follows: raw materials (or castings) → machining (blanking, drilling, etc.) → polishing (polishing

from coarse to fine step by step) → assembly. The whole process is environmentally friendly.

b) The processing procedure of brass chromium plating products is as follows: raw materials (or casting and forging) → machining (blanking, drilling, etc.)

→ polishing (polishing from coarse to fine step by step) → electroplating (several times of electroplating) → assembly. In the processing and production of

brass chromium plating products, several times of electroplating must be carried out, and electroplating has a great impact on the environment.

c) Aluminum magnesium alloy (space aluminum): raw materials (or castings) → machining (blanking, drilling, etc.) → polishing (polishing from coarse to

fine) → anodizing → assembly

a) The surface of stainless steel is treated with natural color, and it has strong corrosion resistance because of its protective film, so it does not need regular

maintenance; if rust appears on the surface due to improper maintenance or use, neutral cleaning agent such as polishing wax can be used to remove it.

b) Brass chrome-plated products need to be maintained frequently, and the surface should be kept clean; when the surface is damaged due to carelessness,

it can not be repaired, because the bathroom environment is generally wet, and after a long time, it will produce copper rust (green), which will cause a large

area of coating to fall off and the product will be scrapped.

c) The surface of aluminum magnesium alloy products is generally anodized, which is not resistant to corrosion in a humid and warm environment, and the

surface is prone to oxidation and corrosion.
