5104 Type High Performance Butterfly Valve
5104 type second-generation eccentric butterfly
valve (referred to as high-performance butterfly valve),
the valve plate and seal ring using a unique eccentric
structure, with a compact structure, good cut-off
performance, long service life and so on, with both
functions of regulating and cutting off. Widely used in
metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, textile, food
, medicine, papermaking and other industrial sectors and
municipal engineering, waterworks and other pipelines for
tap water, sewage, oil liquids or air, gas, natural gas,
water vapor and other media to cut off or pressure, flow
control. This series of products nominal pressure levels
are 0.6. 1.0. 1.6. 2.5. 4.0MPa. Valve caliber DN50-
1200mm; to adapt to the fluid temperature range -60 ~
450 ℃; metal seal type sealing Class IV or Class V, soft
seal type for the Class VI (bubble class) or zero leakage;
flow characteristics of the approximate equal percentage.
Significant characteristics
6. This valve has large flow capacity, small flow
resistance, second only to the same diameter nonreduction O- shape ball valves.
7. This valve flow channel diameter is large, flow
channel diameter is greater than the Gb12238
specified flow channel diameter. The flow channel
barely has reduction cavity, which is convenient for
pipe cleaning and self-cleaning. More effective for
fluids that are turbid, low viscosity with suspended
particles and fibrous media.
8. Connection with pipeline adopts flangeless clamp
type. Structure length: Soft seal adopts GB12221
series (ISO5752 CN series code: 20,), hard seal
adopts GB12221 long series (ISO5752 CN series
code: 16,). Therefore, this type of valve has strong
versatility and interchangeability, and is in line with
international standards.
9. Four major categories of standard actuators:
Pneumatic piston type
Pneumatic membrane type
Electric mechanically regulating type
Electric electronically regulating type
1. High performance regulating cut-off type. It can be
used as a regulator and a cut-off valve.
2. Two-direction seal type, different from the general onedirection seal, reliable sealing even when the medium
flows backward or when \"air hammer\"
occurs.
3. Valve body adopts whole casting technology, compact
structure, small volume, light weight;
4. Using variable eccentricity structure, when closing, the
valve plate expands outward to achieve the best
peripheral sealing state; when opening, the valve plate
and the seal ring quickly disengage, effectively
preventing the seal ring from wearing out; in this way, not
only reduces the operating torque, but also increases
the valve's service life.
5. Innovative seal ring design, using the international
advanced technology; PTFE seals using \"lip-tooth\"
shape self-sealing structure; hard seal using \"U\"
shape elastic seal. The sealing structure is long-lasting
and reliable. As for the circumstances under which the
soft seal is used or hard seal is used, it is mainly
depends on the user's requirements, operating conditions
and corrosion resistance requirements.

Difference with conventional butterfly valve
5104 type high-performance butterfly valve and
conventional D671H (F, X), D971H (F, X)
difference is: conventional butterfly valve opening
moment is large, the entire opening and closing
process of the valve plate and seal ring (such as
rubber) exists \"tear\" phenomenon, resulting in
larger operation moment of conventional butterfly
valve, short service life, low sealing reliability.
While 5104 type high-performance butterfly valve
are developed for the needs of high-speed
development of automation industry, long service
life, high reliability, can be applied to high
temperature (hard seal), high pressure, high
frequency of use, it is able to regulate and cut off, it
is a kind of self-control valve which has been
covered more and more widely in recent years.

Basic structure and seal ring form
Lip and tooth seal
PFTE lip tooth-shape butterfly sealing
seat (A) flexure is closely fitted with the
outer edge of the spherical fan-shape
butterfly plate (B) to ensure reliable
sealing, the valve body (C) and inserts
(D) fasten the sealing seat in place, and
to protect it from the media, preventing
corrosion.
Eccentric principle 5104 Type eccentric butterfly valve is designed
with two eccentricities:
The rotational shaft of the valve plate is off the
center of the cross-section (a) of the sealing
surface of the valve plate; the rotational shaft is
off the center of the pipeline (b).
When opening, the points on the sealing surface
of the valve plate are separated from the seal
ring at the same time, and there is no extrusion
between the rotation of the valve plate and the
seal ring, so that the sealing surface maintains
the best sealing effect that can be adjusted
automatically by the elastic pressure of the seal
ring under pressure. With rubber and reinforced
PTFE seals, leakage class VI or even zero
leakage is achieved. Elastic metal stainless
steel seal ring for high temperatures and other
more demanding occasions
