破碎仓重新设计的同时也增大了其尺寸，即使是较大的浇口料也能轻松投入，因而GDL系列的适用范围更广泛。转子支撑在两个轴承上，同时其轴径按照最大的转子宽度来设计，从而使其切碎块状物体成为可能。另外阶梯型转子刀片设计使得任何时刻只有一片刀具在进行切割，从而增加了切割扭矩。基于以上原因，GDL系列的机器适用于切割致密材料和厚壁浇口。
