Project #1 FAS Solution fora Large ChemicalIndustrialPark

This project coversan extremely large area,with the entire park consistingof more thana dozen branch plants.Each branch plant isequipped witha setof centralized fire alarm control system，composed of1centralized fire alarm controller (LFACP),several zonecontrollers (FACP) and1set of graphic workstation (CRT).The entire park hasmore than 90various firealarm controllers,aswell asspecial systems including fiber Bragg grating temperature measurement system, gas fire extinguishing control system and air sampling system.A Cisco switch is installed in the centralized fire alarm controller of each branch plant,with each switch providing two-way redundant Ethernet signals, transmitting the signals of more than a dozen fire alarm systems to 2 data exchange centers (mutually redundant in data).The two data exchange centers then transmit the signals to the Emergency Response Center (ERC),where 1 main fire alarm controller (MFACP) and1set of graphicworkstation(CRT)formonitoring the entire base are set up.

Special requirements different from conventional GB design: 1.The hotel alarm host and fire control room must be set up independently
2.Class-A ring wiring method shall be adopted
3.The fire alarmsystem hostand main equipment must have ULorFMcertificationinadditiontodomestic CCCcertification 4.Smoke detectors in hotel guest rooms are equipped with built-in buzzers
5.Aduplicate displayscreenof thealarm host shall be installed in the operator on-duty room of the central telephone exchange 6.Gas lamp sound and light alarm devices shall be installed in all publicareasand back-officeareas of the hotel
