The mold platen drillings(EUROMAP) canbe temporarily closed withplasticstoppers.Thesurroundingsof the mold platens are lined with easy-to-clean stainless steel panels.If desired,themachine platenscanbe supplied with a reduced bore pattern.

Undesirabledisturbancevariablesinthecleanroominclude thehot air and plastics vapor generated around the barrel during the injection process.Therefore the barrels on Medical machines are covered by an encasement and equipped with a closed injection guard and detachable trayforthe spray cake, as wellas a suction flange.This enables both the hot air and the plastic vapors to be sucked off from a centralpoint.

The moving platen of the machine travels on a carriage withoutcominginto contactwiththe tie-bars.Within the clamping system,the tie-bars exclusively serve asforce transmissionelementswithout anyguidingfunction.This keeps the mold space free of oil and grease.

Support and guiding of the moving platen ishandled by two moving carriages sliding on linear bearings. The linearbearingsonthe machineframe are located outside the mold space.Telescopic covers prevent any potential contact between free falling molded parts and the linear guides.
