Safety Precautions for Electric Tools Usage
1) Do not abuse electric tools. Use the appropriate electric tools for the purpose.Choosing electric tools with proper design will make your work more effective and safer.
2) If the switch cannot be turned on or off to cut off the power supply of the tool,do not use the electric tool. Electric tools that cannot be controlled by the switch are dangerous and must be repaired.
3) Before making any adjustments, replacing attachments or storing the electric tool, you must unplug the plug from the power source and/or disconnect the tool from the battery box. This protective measure will reduce the risk of accidental start-up of the tool.
4)Store the idle electric tools out of the reach of children and do not allow people who are not familiar with the electric tool or do not understand these instructions to operate the electric tool.Electric tools in the hands of untrained users are dangerous.
5) Maintain the electric tool.Check whether the moving parts areadjusted properly orstuck, andcheck fordamage to the parts and other conditions that affect the operation of the electric tool. If there is damage, the electric tool should be repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained electric tools.
6)Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean.Well-maintained tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to get stuck and easier to control.
7)Use the electric tool, attachments and the tool head according to the usage instructions, considering the working conditions and the operations being performed.Using the electric tool for operations that do not match the purpose may lead to danger.
General SafetyWarningfor ElectricTools-Maintenance
Have your electric tools sent to professional repairmen for maintenance.Use the same spare parts for the repair. This will ensure the safety of the repaired electric tools.
Supplementary Safety Rules for Beveling Machines Rebound and related warnings
1)Keep the electric tools firmly held.Especially when the machine starts, make sure to hold the body steadily to prevent it from vibrating back and forth.
2) Keep your hands away from the rotating parts. 3) Please install the chamfering tool bits before using. 4) Secure the workpiece. Use a fixing device or a vice to fix the workpiece. It will be more stable than holding it by hand. Do not use the beveling machine to clamp it on the vise or fixture.Do not use it while the rotating part is in motion. Keep your face or hands away from the rotating parts.
5)Do not process materials containingasbestos.Asbestos may cause cancer.
6)The edges and fragments of the workpiece are very sharp. Please wear protective equipment.Depending on the applicable situation, usea face mask, safety gogglesor safetyglasses.Whenapplicable, wearadustmask, hearing protection, gloves and a work apron that can protectagainst workpiece fragments.
7)Keep bystandersata safe distance from theworkingarea. Anyone entering the working area must wear protective equipment.
8)The workplace must be kept clean.Different types of work dust, when mixed, are prone to chemical reactions and are very dangerous.Metal dust is prone to catching fire or causing an explosion.
9)Do not let the tool run without anyone present.Only operate when holding the tool in hand.Do not place the rotating machine on the ground or workbench until the beveling machine is completely stationary.
10)Do not place the beveling machine on the workpiece fragments.Otherwise,it may cause damage to the tool or malfunction.
11)Please avoid having the rotating _parts of the machine touch the power cord. This may lead to a serious electric shock accident.Do not use the beveling machine with damaged power cords. If the power cord is damaged during operation,do not touch the damaged wire and immediately pull out the plug.Damaged wires will increase the risk of electric shock for the user.
12) Make sure to stand firmly.Do not have anyone under the work area when workingat heights.
13)Do not touch the blade immediately after the operation. Because they may be extremely hot and cause burns to the skin.
14) If the machine falls or collides accidentally, please check if the blade and the machine are damaged, cracked or deformed.
15) If using an extension cable,please use a double-insulatedcablewiththesamespecificationsasthistool.
16)Regularly clean the ventilation ports of the beveling machine. The motor fan will suck in dust into the casing. Excessive deposition of metal powder can lead to electrical hazards.
17)Do not use accessories that require coolant.Using water orother coolants may cause electrochemical corrosion or electric shock.
18) Do not stand where the tool will move whenit rebounds. The rebound will drive the tool to move in the opposite direction of the cutting motion at the winding point.
Therebound is a sudden reactive force resulting from the installation parts being jammed or tangled during rotation. Jamming or tangling can cause the rotating installation parts to suddenly stop rotating rapidly, thereby causing the out-of-control power tool to move in the opposite direction of the installation parts'rotation at the jam point.
If the chamfering cutter blade is tangled or jammed by the workpiece, the edge of the chamfering cutter blade that penetrates the workpiece may slide open or rebound due to the jamming. At this time, the cutter holder of the chamfering cutter blade may fly towards or away from the operator, depending on the direction of movement of the cutter holder at the jam point.Additionally, the chamfering cutter blade may also break.
Therebound isa result of improper use of the power tool or improper operation. It can be avoided by taking the following appropriate preventive measures.
1) Grasp the power tool firmly and keep your body and arms in the correct posture to resist the rebound force. If appropriate preventive measures are taken, the operator can control the momentary torque and rebound force.
2)Be extra careful when working at sharp corners, sharp edges, etc.Avoid the bouncing and entanglement of attachments.Sharp corners, sharp edges and bouncing have the tendency to entangle rotating attachments and cause uncontrollable rebound.
3)The direction inwhich the installation piece is pushed into the workpiece must always be consistent, that is,to make the next cut in the direction when the blade leaves the workpiece (equivalent to the directionin which the waste is thrown out).If the cutting direction of the power tool is incorrect, the blade of the installationpiecewill slip off the workpiece and the power tool will be pulled towards the direction of advancement.
4)Avoid blocking the bevel blade or applying too much downward pressure. The height of the bevel edge must not exceed the maximum allowablevalue.Overloaded bevel blades are prone to tilt or get blocked under excessive pressure, thereby causing rebound or cracking of the bevel blade.
5)Avoid getting close to the front or rear of the rotating bevel blade. When you remove the bevelblade from the workpiece,it may cause rebound and the power tool, along withthe rotating bevel blade, may directly throwtowards you.
6)Turn or replace the dull or peeling coating bevel blades in time.Dull bevel blades increase the risk of the machine getting stuck and damaged.
7)Do not use the power toolwithouta guide plate
Marking
To minimize the damage, users should carefully read the instruction manual.
