HydropowerGeneration
Hydropower is the process of utilizing the potential energy of water flows from high places such as rivers and lakes, converting it into the kinetic energy of a water turbine, which drives a generator to produce electrical energy. It is a high-quality renewable clean energy source and is the preferred investment direction in the process of energy development.
The main anti-corrosion targets of the steel structures in hydropower facilities include various types of gates, trash racks, hoists, ship lifts, pressure steel pipes, cleaning machines, embedded parts, and dam navigation steel structures, which are collectively referred to as hydraulic steel structures.
The purpose of corrosion protection for hydraulic steel structures is to minimize the loss caused by metal corrosion, extend its service life, and provideacertaindecorative effect.
Although hydropower stations do not have serious problems with dust and exhaust emissions, some equipment is in a damp environment fora long time, and even submerged in water fora long time, which also places them in a moderately severe corrosion environment. The key to corrosion prevention in hydropower stations lies in waterproofing and moisture proofing, especially in areaswhere dryand wet conditions alternate.
Before formulating the corrosion protection system for hydraulic steel structures,a scientific and systematic analysis should be conducted on the corrosion environment inwhich they are located.According to relevant standards, the corrosion environment should be evaluated and classified. Only based on this, can an effective coating system and construction plan that meetanti-corrosion requirements be designed.
The corrosion environment of hydraulic steel structures is divided into two parts:natural environment and operating conditions. Both of them directly affect the process of corrosion and the anti-corrosion lifespan of the paint film.
The natural environment includes:air temperature,water temperature,light exposure,rainfall (including acid rain),average annual wind speed,fog, relative humidity,water quality (pH value,dissolved oxygen,etc.),and sand content.
The operating conditions are quite complex. Some are in the atmospheric environment (indoors or outdoors),some are underwater (still water or flowing water),some endure the erosion of high and medium speed sediment-laden water flowall year round, while some are constantly ina state of alternating dry and wet conditions.
HAMGAR analyzes the natural environment of the geographical location based on specific engineering projects to determine its corrosive environment.According to the operating conditions of the metal structure, itclarifies therequirements for the performance of the anti-corrosion coating, and designs a scientific anti-corrosion coating system, thereby ensuring the service life and normal operation of the hydraulic metal structure.

Wind Power Generation
Wind is a type of natural energy that can be utilized, known as wind energy.Wind energy will not be depleted like fossil fuels due to human exploitation, therefore, wind isa renewable energy source.
During the process of converting wind energy into electrical energy, only the speed of the airflow is reduced, without causing any pollution to the atmosphere.Using wind power can reduce the consumption of conventional energy, thereby reducing the emissions of CO2 and SO2. This isof great significance for protecting the environment and ecological balance, and improving the energy structure.
Wind power farms are located in outdoor environments with harsh natural conditions, where the wind force isabove level 4all year round, accompanied by wind and sand. The towers are exposed to intense sunlight, withstand wind, rain, and snow, and are affected by cold currentsand temperature changes. The tower located by the sea issusceptible to corrosiondue to the erosionofwatervaporand salt spray,as well as the splashing of seawater. Therefore, effective anti-corrosion measures must be adopted to protect wind turbines and tower barrels, extend their service life, and reduce frequent maintenance work.
Wind power generator mainly consists of blades and tower barrel, among which the tower barrel is the main part that needs to be painted.Different coating systemsare used for the innerand outer surfaces of the tower barrel respectively. The recommended thickness ofthe dry film isalso set based on its exposure to differentclimatic conditions, for example, the external area of the tower barrel, the internal area, and other parts (the motor, gearbox, rotor shaft, wind blades, etc.).
The coating products developed by HAMGAR Industrial Coatings for wind power equipment have excellent weather resistance, water resistance, adhesion, and anti-corrosion properties. The paint film is hard and resistant to external impact.

Thermal Power Generation
Thermal power plant, also known as "thermal power station",is a factory that uses coal, oil, and natural gas as fuel to produce electricity. Fuel burns in the boiler to change water into steam, converting the chemical energy of the fuel into heat energy. The pressure of the steam drives the turbine to rotate, transforming heat energy into mechanical energy. Then, the turbine drives the generator to rotate, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.
The development of our country's electric power industry started with thermal power. With the rapid development of our country's economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the electric power industry has achieved rapid development over the past few decades. Our country is rich in coal resources, and thermal power generation is low-cost,safe,and reliable. The thermal power industry has played a significant role in the social and economicdevelopment of our country.
In industrial production, the corrosion of metal materials not only causes huge economic losses to enterprises due to equipment damage, work stoppage, and decline in product quality, but it is also one of the important factors affecting production safety. Due to the unique nature of its products, the electric power industry has extremely strict requirements for safe operation. The control of power equipment corrosion has long been an important link in the safe operation of electricity. Therefore, corrosion protection in thermal power plants is of great significance.
During the operation of thermal power generation,a large amount of corrosive gases (oxides of sulfur, etc.) are released. These gases combine withthe water vapor or rainwater in the air to formacidic solutions, which have severe corrosive effects on steel components and their supporting equipment.Additionally, the accumulation of coal dust on thesurface of steel components, due to its salt content, accelerates the electrochemical corrosion of the steel components. Therefore, the issue of corrosion prevention has become one of the important aspects of the construction, operation, and maintenance of thermal power plants.
Obtaining long-term protection for thermal power plant facilities, safeguarding the safety of owners'investments, and reducing later maintenance costs are the main goals of HAMGAR Industrial Coatings in thethermal power market. We create value for our customers with advanced protection concepts,high-quality services, and high-tech products!

NuclearPower
With the continuous development of the economy and the strengthening of environmental protection awareness, people's demand for efficient, clean, and safe new energy is becoming increasingly urgent. Nuclear energy,as a clean and efficient energy source,is attracting more andmoreattentionfromdifferentcountries.
Due to the unique environmental conditions and corresponding support systems of nuclear power plants, all the nuclear power plants currently being developedand builtoraboutto be built inour countryare located by the sea.All equipment and buildings not only have to withstand intense sunlight and weather, but also suffer from the erosion of water vapor, salt spray, and sea tide, making them highly susceptible to corrosion.
Corrosion prevention is the most critical issue for nuclear power plants. It notonly relates to the long-term operation of equipment and various systems, but also closely related to the safety of the nuclear power plant.
The long-lasting coating protection system not only significantly extends the maintenance cycle of the coating and prolongs the service life of the entirenuclearpower equipment, butalso playsa crucial role in the safety of the entire nuclear power station.
Considering the characteristics of the corrosive environment in nuclear power plants and their special requirements, the coating protection system chosen for related equipment not only needs to have good anti-corrosion performance, but also requires the paint film to be hard andimpact-resistant,and have good weather resistance, water resistance, strong adhesion, and decorative properties.
HAMGAR can provide corresponding anti-corrosion coating products according to the regulations and requirements of ISO12944 for long-term durable protection of steel structures in different corrosion environments.
The non-nuclear areas of the nuclear power station,including the conventional islandandall areas of BOP,are inan indoorenvironment that does not directly contact the external natural environment,and should be classified as a C3 corrosion environment,that is,a moderate corrosion environment.The outdoor (marine atmospheric environment) should be in a { \mathsf { C } } 4 { \widetilde { \mathbf { \Gamma } } } { \mathsf { C } } 5 corrosion environment, that is,a high to very high corrosion environment.

Coal Processing Industry
Asa fuel in industry, coal providesa large amount of energy for industrial development and the improvement of people's living standards. It laysa solid foundation for optimizing resource allocation and further promoting economic development.
The main characteristics of the working environment in the coal industry are humidityand high oxygen levels, with bothair and water severely polluted. Therefore, there isawidespread issue of severe electrochemical corrosion in mining machinery and equipment. Its corrosion forms mainly include atmospheric corrosion, and there are also wear corrosion, galvanic corrosion, stress corrosion, pitting, etc. The corrosion conditions of different regions, different environments, and different equipment vary greatly.
The majority of coal production relies on underground mining, and the workingenvironmentdeepunderground containsa certain concentration of electrolytes such asacid, alkali, and salt in groundwater. Depending on the region and the conditions of the strata and rock layers, the types of salts dissolved in groundwater and their concentrations,as well as the pH value of the groundwater, can vary greatly. In addition, harmful gases such as H2S, S { \mathsf { O } } _ { 2 } N \mathsf { O } _ { 2 } and CH4 that seep out of coal seams can accelerate the rate of electrochemical corrosion of metals.
The production level and mine design of the coal industry stipulate that the mining lifespan of large and medium-sized mines generally needs to be over 50 years, and some even need to exceed 1oo years, constituting permanent projects.
The mining workplace is located hundreds of meters underground, where the air is damp, water drips heavily, and corrosion is severe. Replacing and repairing equipment is very difficult, costly, and time-consuming,which seriously affects mine production. This requires that reliable and long-lasting anti-corrosion coatings be used in the design, manufacture, and installation process of mining equipment.
HAMGAR Industrial Coatings has developed a series of products through research and analysis of factors such as the unique environment and production process of mines. These products, with their excellent anti-corrosion performance, reduce the frequency of maintenance or replacement of mining equipment.

EnergyStorageDevice
To achieve the dual carbon goal, our country will gradually establish a new type of power system based on renewable energy. However, compared to traditional energy, renewable energy generation generally has issues of intermittency and fluctuation, requiring energy storage facilities to smooth and stabilize the operation of the power system. Therefore, with the continuous increase in the proportion of renewable energy, energy storagewill be an indispensable role in the power system.
Energy storage, simply put,is the process of storing energy for release and use when needed. The containerized energy storage system has characteristics such as simplified infrastructure construction costs, short construction period, high degree of modularization, and ease of transportation and installation. It can be applied to power stations such as thermal power, wind energy, and solar energy, or application scenarios such as islands, communities, schools, research institutions, factories, and large load centers.
Theenergy storage container has excellent anti-corrosion,fireproof waterproof, dustproof (wind and sand resistant),shockproof,UV resistant, and anti-theft functions.
Therefore, before formulating an anti-corrosion protection system,it is necessary to scientifically and systematically analyze the corrosion environment in which the energy storage container is located, and to evaluateand gradethecorrosionenvironmentaccordingtorelevant standards.Only based on this, can an effective coating system and construction plan that meetanti-corrosion requirements be designed.
