ABOUT BIFMA

Established in 1973, BIFMA is a not-for-profit trade association of furniture

manufacturers and suppliers addressing issues of common concern. The association’s

membership of over 260 companies represents over 80% of the value of North

American shipments of office furniture. BIFMA’s mission is to serve the North

American office and business furniture manufacturing industry as an information

resources, industry advocate, and also by offering professional and industry-wide trade

development opportunities.

BIFMA ACCREDITATION

As a member of BIFMA, SGS have the capability of furniture testing which accepted by

BIFMA, and also have the right of draft standard evaluation. SGS can receive the
