NADCAP is the English abbreviation for “National Aerospace and Defense Contractors

Accreditation Program”. It is the \"National Aerospace and Defense Contract Credit

Project\". It is a certification system for special products and processes in the aerospace

industry initiated and developed by the U.S. aerospace and defense industry giants, the

U.S. Department of Defense, SAE and other agencies. Its purpose is to replace the

repeated special process examination and certification of suppliers with common

third-party certification solutions, so as to effectively reduce the cost and potential risk

of supplier development. NADCAP certification is managed by PRI, Members include

Airbus, Ge, Boeing, Goddard Space Flight Center, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce and

other famous aviation enterprises. Getting NADCAP certification has become a

mandatory requirement for the whole aviation manufacturing industry. Only with

NADCAP qualification and further audit by aviation enterprises, can we finally become

a member of the aviation industry.
