den ersten Blick außergewöhnlich, optisch wie funktional einzigartig. Der Designer Martin Ballendat hat mit seiner innovativen

Gestaltung ein geradezu ikonisches Stuhlobjekt geschaffen. Von

oben betrachtet, sieht VS Stakki aus wie ein grafisch reduziertes

Symbol, individuell und absolut unverkennbar.

VS Stakki ist ausgesprochen leicht, er lässt sich einfach handhaben und vielseitig einsetzen – in Bildungseinrichtungen genauso

wie in Kantinen, Hotels oder Wohnbereichen. Und auch seine

Nachhaltigkeitsbilanz passt bestens in unsere Zeit. Der Stuhl besteht aus nur einem Teil, ohne Materialmix, und aus minimalistisch wenig Material. Er kann einfach recycelt werden. Produktionsüberschüsse werden direkt für neue Stühle wiederverwertet.

A minimal three-legged design, with a basic triangular shape

manufactured from a single part, the VS Stakki chair immediately

stands out on first impression. It is visually and functionally

unique. A truly innovative concept from designer Martin Ballendat, he has literally created something iconic. When seen from

above, the VS Stakki chair looks like a graphically reduced symbol

– highly individual and absolutely unmistakeable.

VS Stakki is extremely lightweight. It is easy to handle and extremely versatile when used in educational establishments, as

well as in canteens, hotels and living spaces. The chair consists

of a single part with no mixture of materials. The material that is

used is kept to an absolute minimum and can be easily recycled.

Production surpluses are directly reused for new chairs. With

such a high degree of sustainability, it is an ideal solution for the

modern age.

Der Designer Martin Ballendat hat mit seinem Studio bereits für

zahlreiche internationale Unternehmen und Marken gearbeitet.

Er gestaltet Möbel für den Wohnbereich genauso wie für den Objekt- und Bürobereich. Dabei war gerade das Thema Stuhl für ihn

immer wieder neu faszinierend. Bei VS Stakki hat er die Gestaltungsaufgabe auf extreme Weise zugespitzt. Er wollte den Stuhl

auf das absolute Minimum reduzieren. Seine Vision: das Wenigste, was denkbar ist, das Maximum an Funktion. Ein Stuhl, der jede Freiheit gibt und alles mitmacht.

Das Ergebnis steht jetzt fest auf drei Beinen. Nichts an VS Stakki

ist zu viel. Aber alles ist mit ihm möglich. Man kann sich von jeder Seite rundum auf ihn setzen, der flexible Rücken gibt in jeder

Position bequemen Halt. Eine ungewöhnliche, absolut eigentümliche Form. So sieht ein innovativer Stuhl aus.

The designer Martin Ballendat and his studio have worked for

numerous international companies and brands. He designs furniture for residential use, as well as for non-domestic and office

sectors. He has always been fascinated by the function of chairs.

VS Stakki is an extreme example of the designer’s art. His vision:

to reduce the concept of a chair to an absolute minimum, whilst

providing the greatest possible level of functionality. The result:

a chair that is full of freedom and exceptionally versatile.

The VS Stakki stands firmly on its own three feet. There is nothing superfluous in the design, yet everything is possible. You can

sit on it from every side, with the flexible back providing comfortable support in any position. An unusual, absolutely individual form, VS Stakki illustrates just what an innovative chair can

look like.

VS Stakki ist ein dreibeiniger Stuhl, nahtlos aus nur einem Teil

hergestellt in einem technisch anspruchsvollen Mehrkomponentenspritzguss mit Gasinnendruckverfahren. Trotz seines geringen

Gewichts von nur vier Kilogramm bietet VS Stakki eine sehr hohe

Stabilität. Seine dreieckige Grundform ermöglicht platzsparende

Stellkonfigurationen bei größtmöglicher Beinfreiheit.

Aber wie soll man auf einem Stuhl mit dreieckiger Sitzfläche

richtig sitzen? Ganz wie es gefällt! VS Stakki erlaubt vielfältige

Positionen, ob frontal, seitlich, schräg oder rittlings. Von allen

Seiten kann man sich auf VS Stakki gleich bequem und ergonomisch niederlassen. Der Stuhl hat wenig Fläche, aber genau so

viel, wie nötig ist, um in jeder Hinsicht gut zu sitzen.

VS Stakki is a three-legged design, fully manufactured from a

single part using technically demanding multicomponent injection moulding - coupled with an internal gas pressure process.

Despite weighing only four kilograms, the design offers very high

stability. The basic triangular form and small footprint permit

space-saving arrangements that provide the greatest possible

freedom of leg movement.

So what is the correct way to sit on a chair with a triangular seat

surface? The answer? Whatever way you like! VS Stakki permits a

wide range of positions, whether front-on, side-on, oblique or

astride. Users can sit on VS Stakki from every side and still enjoy

the same ergonomic comfort. The chair seat has only a small surface, but it's just the right amount to ensure all-round seating

comfort.

Eine innovative Designidee ist erst der Anfang. Dann beginnt die Arbeit an den

funktionalen Details, das sorgfältige Tüfteln und Austarieren in der Entwicklung

bis hin zum Prototypen. Das führt am Ende dazu, dass VS Stakki auch mit seinen

Funktionalitäten glänzen kann. Für festen Stand sorgen rutschhemmende, bodenschonende 2-Komponenten-Universalgleiter, passend für alle gängigen Bodenbeläge. Die Treppenausformung der Gleiter und das konkave Beinprofil machen das

Aufstapeln ganz leicht und sichern Stabilität; die Sitzflächen bleiben im Stapel

geschützt. Maximal zehn Stühle können nahezu senkrecht aufeinandergestellt

werden.

VS Stakki präsentiert sich in jedem Umfeld ausgesprochen gut, etwa in Schulen,

Universitäten, Cafeterien oder auch im privaten Wohnbereich. Gerade in Cafeterien, wo es zu Stoßzeiten schon mal eng zugeht, kann ein kleiner Stuhl große Entlastung bringen.

An innovative design concept is only the beginning. The meticulous honing and

balancing of the functional details take us through all the various development

stages, right up to the prototype stage. Stability is ensured by the non-slip, dualcomponent universal glide elements that are gentle on the floor and suitable for

all commonly used floor coverings. The stepped shape of the glide elements and

the concave leg profile make the chairs easy to stack and ensure maximum stability. Up a maximum of ten chairs can be stacked almost vertically, with the seat

surfaces well protected.

VS Stakki is an attractive addition to any environment, for example in schools,

universities, cafeterias, or private homes. They are suited to cafeterias in particular, which often become exceptionally busy at peak times and where a smaller

chair can free up a lot of space.

Ergänzt wird VS Stakki formal wie funktional durch den Tisch DROP. Die ballig

konkav gewölbten Tischbeine schließen schwungvoll an die gefaste Tischplatte an.

Wie VS Stakki besteht DROP aus Prolypropylen und wird im Injektionsverfahren

hergestellt. Das Material macht den Tisch leicht, wetter- und witterungsbeständig.

Er kann also außen wie innen eingesetzt werden.

Die vier Tischbeine sind mit Schrauben an der Tischplatte befestigt und verfügen

über Kunststoffgleiter. Diese verhelfenn auf der Terrasse genauso für guten Stand

wie in Kantine, Cafeteria oder Aula. Und: DROP lässt sich stapeln.

Zur Verfügung steht der Tisch in rund oder quadratisch, in Weiß oder Grau. Beide

Töne harmonieren hervorragend mit den verschiedenen VS Stakki-Farben.

VS Stakki is complemented in form and function by the DROP table. The spherical,

concave curved table legs are dynamically joined to the chamfered table top. Just

like VS Stakki, DROP is made from polypropylene and is manufactured using an injection-moulding process. The material makes the table lightweight and weatherproof. It can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.

The four table legs are fixed to the table top with screws and are equipped with

plastic glide elements. These ensure stability out on the terrace just as much as

in the canteen, cafeteria or main hall. And: DROP can be stacked.

The table is available as a round or square variant in either white or grey. Both

shades harmonize perfectly with the various VS Stakki colours.
