Acrossthese projects,integratorstold us thesame thing:theywanted thefullacoustic performance of ourtouring platformsina format purpose-builtfor installations—lighter, cleaner,morecost-efficient,and freefromunnecessarytouring hardware.Theyalso neededflexibleweather-protectionoptions,fromdurableoutdoorfinishestofull Marine Grade treatment,along with custom colour choices to match architectural requirements. TheAPSi Serieswas created preciselytomeet thatneed.

Witha capacityof30,210,the BayArenaisthedefinitionofamodernsports venue.Homeof Bayer04Leverkusen, oneofGermany'sleadingprofessionalfootballclubs,thestadiumisnoteworthyforspectatorproximitytotheonfieldaction.Overtheyears theclubhasalwayslookedtowardsinnovativeandsustainablesolutionswhenitcomes tostadiumtechnologyandoneofitsmostrecentadvanceswas toreplaceit'sexistingaudioprovisionwiththe installation ofa CODA Audio sound system.
Theaimwas tosignificantlyimprovethesoundsituationinthestadiumwithahigh-qualityattractivelypriced solution.Forthenewsystem,theclearlycommunicated goalwastoachieveanSTlvalueof O.56onatleast 9 0 % of theareastobecovered."
CODAAudioAPSwas chosen for thestadium.APS (Arrayable PointSource)isalightweight (27kg),hybrid loudspeakerwhichcanbeusedasasinglepointsourceaswellasinhorizontal orverticalarrays.Asa'bestof both worlds'solutionwhichcancombinethescalabilityofalinearrywiththeflexibilityofapointsource,APSwasthe perfectfit for CODA's Bundesliga debut.
