If the required chamfer size is larger than C2.5,please complete it in multiple steps. It is recommended to increase by 1 - 2 \mathsf {mm } each time. Otherwise,it will reduce the surface quality of the machined part, shorten the machine's service life and increase the wear of the cutting tool.If the chamfer requirement is too high, please perform trial chamfering until it meets the requirements.
a) Loosen the internal hexagonal tightening screw a.
b) Rotate the arc guiding plate b.
c) When rotating counterclockwise, the cutting amount decreases;when rotating clockwise, the cuttingamount increases.
d) Adjust to the required size and then tighten the internal hexagonal tightening screwa.
The specific chamfer size can be seen in Figure G.
V.Instructions for Chamfering Operation
Note: Due to the fact that excessive milling operations may cause machine overload, blade damageand poor surface quality of the machined part, the miling depth fora single pass during milling operations should not exceed 2 . 5 \mathsf {mm } .Multiple passes can be carried out to achieve a greater milling effect.
a)Place the arc guiding plate above the workpiece to be machined without allowing the blade to come into contact with it.
b) Then turn on the machine switch and wait until the machine reaches its maximum speed.
c)When chamfering curvesand straight edges, make the guiding wheel adhere to the surface of the workpiece (see Figure E) and advance slowly in the forward direction. At this time,it is required to keep the guiding wheel and the arc guiding plate parallel to the surface of theworkpiece and advance ata uniform speed until the final machining is completed.
d) When chamfering internal and external round holes, make the guiding wheel adhere to the surface of the workpiece and advance around the inner or outer circle once. This can achieve the chamfering effect. If necessary,it can be repeated for two or more circles to obtain the best chamfering effect. The cutting direction is shown in Figure F.
e) The shape and size of the chamfer can be referred to Figure G.
