铝单板是指经过铬化等处理后，再采用氟碳喷涂技术，加工形成的建筑装饰材料。氟碳涂料主要是指聚偏氟乙烯树脂（KANAR50O），分底漆、面漆、清漆三种。

其构造主要由面板、加强筋和角码组成。角码可直接由面板折弯、冲压成型，也可在面板的小边上铆装角码成型。加强筋与板面后的电焊螺钉连接，使之成为一个牢固的整体，极大增强了铝单板幕墙的强度与刚性，保证了长期使用中的平整度及抗风抗震能力。如果需要隔音保温，可在铝板内侧安装高效的隔音保温材料。

铝蜂窝板采用热压成型技术，用蜂窝板比重轻、强度高、结构稳定、抗风压好，具有相同的蜂窝夹层板重量仅为铝板的1/5，钢板的1/10。因铝皮和蜂窝间的高热传导值，内外铝皮的热胀冷缩同步；蜂窝铝皮上有小孔，使板内气体可以自由流动；可滑动安装扣系统在热胀冷缩时不会引起结构变形。其面板主要选用优质的3003H24合金铝板或5052AH14高锰合金铝板为基材，面板厚度为0.8\~1.5mm氟碳滚涂板或耐色光烤漆，耐色光烤漆在抗划痕、耐酸雨腐蚀变色、自洁性方面强于PVDF，底板厚度为0.6\~1.0mm，总厚度为25mm。
