General process simulation software is the cornerstone in the development of

modern process industry.

APEX software has the ability to simulate and predict the process through the

construction of flowsheet, which makes it an essential tool in R&D, design and

operation through the whole life cycle of modern process enterprise. This also

determines its irreplaceable place in the digital transformation of process industry.

SUPCON has been devoted itself to the process industry for 30 years. With

accumulation of abundant theoretical knowledge, experience and technology,

it has paved the way to the launching of Advanced Process Engineering eXpert

(APEX). APEX is a general process simulation software based on

Equation-Oriented Methodology. It aims to enable enterprises to reduce costs

and increase efficiency throughout the life cycle.

APEX software platform takes

distributed service cluster as the core,

and can be configured to run on

standalone server or multiple cloud

servers. All end users can access the

same service cluster at the same time,

which is convenient for collaborative

work. APEX supports Windows, Linux

and Mac OS.

Supported with abundant thermodynamic method library, unit model library, and

properties library.

Driven by Equation-Oriented Methodology which is different from the traditional

sequential modular methodology, APEX is more efficient and effective in

simulation and optimization. With the construction of variable and equations, the

unique initial value strategy, variable attribute alternation, connection strategy,

degree of freedom analysis and objective function configuration, APEX can easily

deal with complex processes and multiple application scenarios.

The composition of reaction products is very sensitive to reaction conditions, such

as temperature, hydrogen-to-oil ratio, composition of raw materials, etc.

Use 50 lumping components model to represent the composition of raw materials

and products, together with reaction networks and Equation-oriented techniques,
