HOW TO APPLY
1. Choose Your Course
More information about all our international courses is
available at vu.edu.au. It includes information specifically for
international students. Check the entrance requirements and
the course details.

2. Collect Supporting Documents
Gather the documents required to support your application.
Providing the correct documents when you apply will ensure
your application is processed promptly.
This may include:
◆ signed International Declaration Form
◆ a certified copy of the identity pages in your passport
◆ evidence of English language proficiency
◆ certified copies of your academic transcripts and
graduation certificates
◆ Statement of Purpose
◆ curriculum vitae (CV)/résumé
◆ Advanced Standing or Recognition of Prior Learning forms
3. Apply Online
Go to eaams.vu.edu.au to apply and attach the supporting
documents.
The online system also allows you to:
◆ check your application status
◆ respond to University comments and requests
◆ accept your offer.
Check the information you enter, and the signature you sign
documents with matches the copy of it in your passport.
4. Accept Your Offer
Log in to your VU account to check your application status. If
you have a conditional offer it means you need to provide more
information. Once you receive a full offer you need to:
◆ sign your International Student Written Agreement
◆ pay your tuition fee deposit.
Make sure your full name and signature match your passport.
Once we have processed your acceptance, we will send you a
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) that you need to apply for a
student visa.
5. Arrange a Student Visa
Australia’s Department of Home Affairs issues student visas.
Student visa processing times can vary, so you should accept
your offer as early as possible to have as much time as possible
to apply for your visa. As at September 2022, there may be
a significant delay in the assessment of your student visa
application. We strongly recommend that you accept your
offer as early as possible to allow for as much time as possible
for your visa to be processed.

6. Enrol Online
You can enrol online before your arrive in Australia if you
are studying a higher education diploma, bachelor or
postgraduate (coursework) program. You can also arrange
your timetable, check results, access emails and view tuition
fees online. If you are studying a foundation, English language,
TAFE or research program, you will enrol in person.
EDUCATION AGENTS
You may wish to apply through a VU-approved
education agent. Some agents may charge a fee
their services, so ask what the costs are before
making an appointment. VU may require you to
apply through an agent. If we require this, we will
ask you to appoint an agent if you apply directly
