of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Executive Director of the Animal Welfare and Healthy Breeding

Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Executive Director of the

Sichuan Veterinary Association, Editorial Board Member and Review Expert for Several Academic Journals at

Home and Abroad. Long-term commitment to teaching and basic research in animal microecology, focusing

on the analysis of the structure and function of the intestinal flora of livestock, poultry, and wild animals,

molecular succession of animal intestinal microorganisms, and the mechanism of action and research and

application of indigenous probiotics in animal microecological preparations. Has led and participated in

more than 20 national and provincial-level projects, won two provincial-level scientific and technological

achievement awards, co-authored and participated in editing 6 monographs (textbooks), published more

than 200 papers in important domestic and international academic journals, and obtained more than 10

national patents.

Clostridium control and prevention. Slan was founded in 2003. In research field of control and prevention of

Clostridial enteritis, E.coli-induced diarrhea, as well as hepatobiliary disease in animal husbandry, Slan is the

leading company in our industry.

The R&D and production base of Slan is located in Qionglai City, Chengdu, Sichuan province, China. It is a

multi-functional base including R&D Center, QC Center, extraction, fermentation workshops and supporting

facilities. In the fermentation workshop, there are 3 anaerobic fermentation production lines and 3 aerobic

ones, with the annual yield of 8000 tons in total.

Dr. Xu Yi

Dr. Xu Yi, Senior Animal Husbandry Engineer (b. 1980). With over 20 years in animal husbandry, he combines

international perspective with full industry chain experience. Core competencies include poultry nutrition,

feed technology, and farm management, specializing in optimizing the poultry value chain (breedingfeed-farming-processing). Leveraging international academic training and a decade at leading domestic/

international firms, he precisely identifies industry needs and technical bottlenecks, excelling in driving

efficiency gains and cost reduction through innovation. Focused on poultry value chain R&D and application

in the past decade, leading critical projects in feed and farming model innovation. Filed 60+ patents (30+

granted), with multiple innovations commercialized, effectively boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and

advancing the industry.
