Exploring Film Editing: Times Square and the Society of Film Editors Hong

Kong Co-Organised the Exhibition “Magic Behind the Screen”

Times Square, a hub for exhibitions and cultural events, partnered with the Society

of Film Editors Hong Kong to present “Magic Behind the Screen.” This exhibition

showcased various actors’ and filmmakers’ insights on film editing, emphasising

its vital role in cinema. Visitors could experiment with interactive areas — trying

different filters, colour correction techniques, and more — to experience firsthand

the work of film editors.

Promoting Ballet: Harbour City’s Fireworks Viewing Event

Supports Hong Kong Ballet’s Student Ticket Fund

On National Day, Harbour City hosted a fireworks viewing event

at the Ocean Terminal Rooftop Carpark, inviting dancers from

Hong Kong Ballet and students from the Hong Kong Academy

of Ballet to give a lively outdoor ballet performance. Proceeds

from ticket sales, ballet while promoting the performing arts.

after cost deductions, were donated to the Hong Kong Ballet’s

Student Ticket Fund, enabling the offer of half-priced tickets

to students. This initiative broadens young people’s access to

ballet while promoting the performing arts.

探索电影剪接：时代广场与香港电影剪接协会合办「银幕后的魔法」展览

作为展览与文化活动重镇，时代广场联同香港电影剪接协会举办「银幕后的魔法」展览，展示多

位演员与电影人对剪接艺术的见解，突显剪接在电影制作中的重要性。展览设有互动体验区，让

访客亲身尝试滤镜、色彩校正等剪接技巧，深入了解电影剪接师的日常工作。

推广芭蕾舞艺术：海港城观赏烟花活动支持香港芭蕾舞团学生门票基金

国庆当日，海港城于海运大厦露天停车场举办烟花观赏活动，邀请香港芭

蕾舞团的舞蹈员及香港芭蕾舞学院学生演出。活动门票收益在扣除成本

后，全数拨捐予香港芭蕾舞团学生门票基金，用以资助学生以半价购买门

票欣赏演出。是次活动不仅推广表演艺术，亦让更多年轻人有机会接触芭

蕾舞，丰富文化体验。

境意识及实务能力，鼓励于日常工作中实践可持续

理念，为租户与顾客提供更优质的服务体验。

Our main suppliers and contracted workers

span categories such as operational and

facilities services, engineering supply and

maintenance, security, and general supplies.

They play critical roles in our operations, and

we offer training on sustainability to enhance

their environmental awareness, foster value

chain sustainability, and ensure high-quality

service for tenants and customers. In 2024,

we dedicated over 98,000 training hours to

equip suppliers with relevant knowledge

and best practices, encouraging them to

integrate sustainability into their daily work.

Empowering Young Entrepreneurs: Project WeCan Young Innovators

Bazaar at Plaza Hollywood

Project WeCan, a Business-in-Community initiative, provides students

with tools to pursue higher education and career goals. Its Young

Innovators Bazaar ran for three days at Plaza Hollywood, with 60

booths offering students hands-on experience in running a retail business — from project planning and proposal

drafting to marketing strategies and on-site sales. Through this holistic approach, students gain diverse skills and an

entrepreneurial mindset.

赋能青年创业家：荷里活广场举办「趁墟做老板」

「趁墟做老板」为「学校起动」的一部分，旨在体现「社、企共勉」精神，装备学生追求

升学及事业发展的实用技能。活动一连三天于荷里活广场举行，设有60个学生摊

位，涵盖项目策划、提案撰写、市场营销及现场销售等全方位营运体验。透过实战参

与，学生得以掌握多元技能，培养创业思维。

时代广场实践循环经济与健康理念，

荣获WELL健康—安全评价准则

代广场一直积极推动可持续发展，逐步将循环经 时 济原则融入日常营运，同时致力营造安全、健康的

购物环境。当中与试点租户合作的项目尤为创新，透过回

收原本弃置的剩余冰块，用于冷却塔中的冷凝水降温，有

效提升空调效能并节省能源，协助租户实现「零废弃」，展

现互利共生、资源高效的营运模式。时代广场亦定期举办

环保活动、设立便利的回收设施，并透过工作坊推动员工、

租户及业界人士实践绿色生活。

于 2 0 2 4 年 5 月，时 代 广 场 荣 获 国 际 W E L L 建 筑 研 究 院

（IWBI）颁发WELL健康—安全评价准则，以表彰其在清洁

与消毒、紧急应变、健康资源、空气与水质、持份者参与及

创新六大范畴的卓越表现。此项殊荣印证其对可持续发展

及健康福祉的坚持，巩固其作为香港未来型购物地标的领

导地位。

repurpose unused ice cubes — previously discarded — to cool the condenser water in the mall’s cooling tower. This

initiative not only boosts the air-conditioning system’s overall performance and saves energy but also allows the

tenant to achieve “zero waste,” exemplifying a symbiotic, resource-efficient operational model. In addition, Times

Square regularly organises environmental programmes, provides convenient recycling points, and hosts workshops

to encourage employees, tenants, and industry professionals to adopt greener practices.

Demonstrating its commitment to occupant

health and safety, Times Square was awarded

the WELL Health-Safety Rating by the

International WELL Building Institute (IWBI)

in May. This accolade recognises excellence

in six key areas — cleaning and sanitisation,

emergency preparedness, health service

resources, air and water quality, stakeholder

engagement, and innovation. By satisfying

stringent WELL requirements, Times

Square underscores its dedication to both

sustainability and well-being, reinforcing

its leadership in creating a future-ready

shopping destination for tenants, customers,

and employees alike.
