STORAGE PRACTICES
Packaging requirements
The original sealed packaging shall not be opened, and PE/aluminum foil bags or
vacuum cans shall be used.
Multiple packages need to be separated to avoid contamination between materials
(e.g. PU and NBR cannot be mixed)
Inventory management
First-in, first-out principle: Inventory that has not been used for more than 12 months
needs to be re-inspected.
Periodic inspection: Hardness and surface condition are checked every 6 months
(visual hardness tester)
Transport protection
Use a shock-resistant foam box to avoid falling and squeezing.
It is forbidden to transport radioactive materials and chemicals in the same vehicle.
Disposal of failed seals
Mild aging (surface microcracks): can be downgraded for non-critical areas.
Severe aging (volume expansion, fracture): Treat as hazardous waste, and direct
discarding is prohibited
