Construction Guidelines
Theplasticinspectionchambercannotbear theactionof concentrated force suchas pressure ofvehiclewheels.It is necessary toset concrete bearing ring to transform the centralized force todistributed load topass it to surrounding earthof the inspection chambertoavoid that the inspection chamberbear the centralizedforce directly.When the bearing ring is installed,the spacing above300mmshouldbereservedbetweenthebearing ring and wellhole to avoid that the inspection chamber is under the action of force directly due to sedimentation of the bearing ring. The size of setling chamber should be subject of the strength of mechanic of soil.The bearing ring should be designed according to thesize of external load.Aretainerring should besetbetween backfill materials under the bearing ring and inspection chamber. Sealing ring bell-spigot should be usedbetween theretainer ring andinspectionchambertoavoidentryofsundriesandroad surfacewatertosurrounding of theinspection chambertocause that the earth becomes soft and the chamber body sinks.After flexible bell-spigot is carried out betweenwater drainage and plastic inspection chamber, it is enhanced with cement ligation.
Installationmethod
·Installation shouldbemade fromtheupstream of theservice pipes and extendsfrombranch pipes andmain pipesof the downstreamgradually andcarriedout accordingto theorderofchamberpipes.
·Theconstructionmethodforchamberseatjointandpipeconnectionshouldbeconsistentwiththeconstructionmethodofpipeconnectionof the same joint.The chambershould be installed at once afterthe bottom chamberbase is installed.The upper mouth should be sealed temporarly.
·When the plastic bottom chamber base is connected with corrugated pipes, the rubber sealing ring should be placed at the first trough of waves.
Whenstagedconstructioniscariedoutforwholedrainagesystemat thetimeof inpectionandacceptancetmporarysealingshouldbemade for the interfaceconnecting thenext pipesection.
·The chamber that is cut on the pipes according to the burial depth of inspection chamber,the cutting should be flat and is perpendicular to axis of thechamber.
·When the chamberis inserted, heavy hammer should not be used.The special tightening tools should be used.
●Backil should be made afte the drainage pipeline is qualified after acceptance (including pipes and inspection chamber, etc);
·Silt,rubbish and frozen soil should not be used asbackfill.Stone,bricks and other hard objects with edge angle should not be used.
·Forevery layerof backfil, wooden rammer and other light tools should be used to compact.The compactness shouldbe same with backfillof pipes.
