EBVfuseswitchdisconnectorsconformtoIEC60947-1-andIEC60947-3standards.EBVfuseswitchdisconnectorsaredesignedfo applicationswhicequireelablitndsafetylikelowvoltagedistrbutionboardsinstalldinransformersubstatiosindustriallow voltagedistributionboardsand cablecabinets.
Removaloffuselinksissimpleandsafe.Oncethefuselinksareremoedthereisaargeisoatingdistanceclearlyible.Mounting and cable termination is simple and can be accomplished byone person only using insulated equipment.

Sizes
EBVfuse switch disconnectors are designed for installation onto 1 8 5 ~ \mathsf {mm } busbar system.They are available in following sizes (according torated current):
00 (160 A)
2 (400 A)
3 (630 A and 1250 A upon request)
EBV size 00 are manufactured in two versions depending on busbar system:
·EBV00/100mm fuse switch disconnector (160 A) for installation on 1 0 0 ~ \mathsf {mm } busbar system.Installation on 185 mm busbar system is possible by using an adaptor.
·EBV00 fuse switch disconnector (160 A) for installation on 1 8 5 ~ \mathsf {mm } busbar system.
Construction
EBV fuse switch disconnectors are manufactured in two versions:
One-pole switching (separately each pole) Three-pole switching (three poles simultaneously)
Theyare manually operated,consequently making and breaking is dependant on the speed of operatior
MainbaseoffuseswitchdisconnectorEBVismadeofhalogenfree,fibreglassstrengthened,selfextinguishing,tmoset polyesterofVflammabilityclass.OtherplasticpartsoffuseswitchdisconnectorsEBVaremadeof halogenfreefibreglass strengthened, thermoplastic polyamides.
Silverplatedcotactsprovidelowowerloss.ependingonmptyeEBVuseichdisonectorsablesrtocticular orsector-shapedconductorswithbusbarendsorconductorswithlugterminals.Arcchutewithdeionzationplatesareinstalldover eachcontactensuring beterarcextinctionand exhaustofarcplasma.Protectiondegreeof IP30fromthefrontisprovided.

Fuse switch disconnector can be equipped with electronic fuse monitoringmodule.Fuse link status (operational,operated,loss of voltage) is indicatedby light-emittng diodesand status of relay contacts.
Principleofoperation
·L1,L2, L3 diodes are on -all three phases are supplied,all fuse links are operational.Relay contacts: [21.22]-closed; [13..14] -opened
·L1,L2,L3 diodesare flashing-all three phases are supplied, fuse links operated Relay contacts: [21.22]-opened; [13..14] -closed
