Briefintroduction
AFDD(arc fault detectiondevice) isanew electrical anti-fire equipment. Itcouldavoidvariousoffirescausedbyshortcircuit,circuitaging,heavy load,poorcontact,fault electrical devices,etc.Automaticcontrol isrealized bybuilt-incomputerchip.Itsoperatingprinciple:thedetectedarc impulse is processed,compared and identified by electronic circuitand MCU.Once faultarc impulsewhich easilycreates firedetected,theoutputwill drive tripping unit tocut off the load powersupply,so that the fire is prevented.
Function
AFDDaimstodetect hazardousarc impulsewhicheasilycreatesfire(such asinsulationdecreasingbetween lines,loadshortcircuit,poor contact ofconnector,arc causedby house electrical apparatus fault).Thenit triggers trippingunit to cut off thepower supply to prevent electrical fire. AFDDisusedtogetherwith leakagecircuitbreaker,lowvoltagecircuit breaker(overcurrent protection)to buildamulti functionelectrical protective device.Asatrueintelligentlowvoltageelectricalapparatus,tcannotonly preventelectricalfire,electric shockto human,overloaddanger,etc,but alsobecustomizedwithdifferentfunctions.
