Flat belt Head drive type
Steps of conveyor model selection
Selection of material of conveying surface Selection of shape of drive unit
It is the most basic and cheapest type.
There are many types of conveying belts to
choose from, which can deal with the workpiece
accumulation, oily workpieces and products with
anti-static requirements.
Special belt
Round belts have low conveying capacity and are
suitable for conveying thin items or T-shaped
parts.
Mesh belts are suitable for conveying products
with oil and water attached.
Synchronous belt
If there is oil that causes the belt and pulley to
slip, then please choose a conveyor with a
synchronous pulley.
When working with with stepping motor or servo
motor, the synchronous belt can realize highprecision fixed-distance conveyance.
Resin chain
The resin chain conveyor is most suitable for the
case where the relatively large items such as
boxes or pallets are moved without causing
injuries.
Roller chain
When there is a requirement for slippage during
the conveyance of items such as boxes or pallets,
please use a roller chain conveyor.
If there is a higher requirement for the conveying
speed, please use a double plus chain conveyor,
which can achieve 2.5 times the speed.
Plate chain
Plate chains are available in resin and stainless
steel.
Stainless steel chains can be used for processed
parts with many burrs.
Products that are easily scratched can use resin
chains.
Head drive is the most basic drive method.
Its belt has deviation prevention and is easy to be
adjusted, and various belt specifications can be
used on the conveying surface.
Middle drive type
Even if the tension is adjusted, the overall length
of the conveyor does not change, and there is no
need to change the settings between equipment.
The middle drive unit can also move arbitrarily
within the effective range of the aluminum profile.
Double-row type
There is enough space in the middle of the
double-row conveyor to install stoppers,
positioners, sensors and other devices, so it is
very suitable for the conveyance of pallets,
workbins, and cartons.
Turning type
It is suitable for conveying items that require a 90-
degree or 180-degree turn.
It is often used in automatic assembly lines.
Knife-shaped
transition roller
The two ends of the middle drive conveyor adopt
very small rollers for transition, and the conveyed
items can be transferred between the conveyors
very smoothly, and even small items can be
easily conveyed.
Special type
According to the needs, we have launched the
servo positioning conveyors, which can realize
precise positioning, and the booster motor-driven
conveyors, which can provide a safe working
environment.
Confirmation of conveying capacity Drive motors
The text of the model selection description of each series of conveyors
has a conveying capacity table, please confirm it.
Attention
Please note that the conveying capacity listed is the total conveyed mass
calculated without considering product slippage.
If the conveyed object slips, please design based on 1/2 of the indicated
value in the table.
(Note) Slippage refers to the fact that when the conveyor is running
under a load, the conveyed items are in a stopped state, which forms a
slipping friction with the conveying medium of the conveyor.
Confirmation of conveying speed
The text of the model selection description of each series of conveyors
has a reduction ratio and conveying speed table, please confirm it.
Attention
Please note that the speed given in the table is the value at the
beginning of the calculation of the theoretical speed of the motor, and the
actual speed will vary with the load, and the variation range is 2%-15%.
Confirmation of sprocket spacing and belt width
Within the scope of GNKE's specifications, the width and length can be
customized in units of 1mm at a minimum.
For specification selection, please refer to the text of each series. If you
have requirements beyond the range of specifications, please contact
our sales representative for confirmation.
Attention
The minimum distance between the pulleys of the flat belt conveyor is
required to be greater than 2 times the width of the belt, please pay
special attention to that.
If you have special requirements such as less than 2 times the width of
the belt or deviation prevention, please contact our sales representative
for confirmation.
◼ Induction motor
With high output and small change in speed caused by load
fluctuations, this product is a frequently used motor. It is suitable
for one-way, long-term and continuous operation, however, it can
also be used for intermittent operation with relatively long
intervals. For single-phase voltage model, it needs to be used
together with a capacitor.
◼ Adjustable-speed motor
It is a motor whose speed is adjustable.
The controller that regulates the conveying speed is not fixed to
the conveyor body. Please install it according to the actual
usage.
Attention
Variation range of basic speed is:
1:15 (90~1400rpm) at 50 Hz, 1:18 (90~1700rpm) at 60 Hz.
However, the torque decreases in the low speed range, so please
consider the variation range of the running speed of the conveyor as 1:3,
so it is 450~1400 rpm at 50 Hz, and 550~1700 rpm at 60 Hz.
In addition, the lead wire connectors of the motor and the controller can
be connected with one button.
Moreover, for electromagnetic brake motors suitable for repeated
forward/reverse rotation and start/stop operations, and motors with
clutch brakes for positioning, stepping, intermittent feed, etc. during
frequent repeated operations/stops, please contact us.
