DP pumpsareall singlestage,inline centrifugal pumps equippedwitha standard motoranda mechanical seal. Comparing with other pumps in similar structure, these pumps are less accessible to the impurity in the liquid. The pumpsare designed to be pulled out from the top when diassembled. It can be repaired without affecting the pipelines. The mechanical seal for DP200 and above is a cartidge mechanical seal.DP pumps have anoption to be equipped with Dooch'svariable frequency drives (NSQ-DP,XQ-DP).

Inverter In-line Pump
XQ-DP/NSQ-DP pumpsare built on the basis of DP pumps.
Enhanced with the NSQ/XQ drives,the DP pump togetherwith theappropriate sensor is turned into an inteligent,variable speed pumpingsystem. The NSQ/XQ drives adjust the speed of the motor toprovideconstant pressureordifferential pressure to the flowrate.
Operation
The system consists on an electric pump operated byanelectroniccontrolsystem(VFD) thatdelivers constant pressure byreducing or increasing the flow ratebased on thewaterdemand.
In case of an excessive system pressure decrease,the VFD drive starts the pump and regulates its speed until theoperating pressure isre-established.
The pump's speed depends on the water demand. If the water consumption increases,the control system raises thespeed of the pumpup to themax.setvalue. If there isno further waterdemand,the pumpautomatically stops.
